Hotel 4-Star di Akershus, Norway

This is my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Oslo. It's super convenient – just a 200-meter walk to the left after you exit the airport. The breakfast spread is fantastic, the atmosphere is lovely, and the facilities are brand new. Getting to the city center by train is a breeze from here.

This hotel is perfect for early morning flights, offering a shuttle service to the airport. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, even including a kettle. A rich breakfast is served starting at 4 AM, and I was pleasantly surprised to see classic Nordic flower bud lamps on the tables. The price is very reasonable, especially compared to other hotels near the Iceland airport – it's a steal!

This hotel is fantastic; check-in was easy, check-out was easy, staff were helpful, professional and efficient. The breakfast was fantastic - having seen some negative reviews on other sites I can honestly say that I have no idea what they were talking about - maybe they were on glue? The room was perfectly sized for a solo traveller; a drawer might have been helpful so when I unpacked I had somewhere to put my clothes, but I was only staying for 2 nights so it wasn't essential. The bathroom was small but perfectly formed and functional. It was so clean it looked brand new. The bed was a double and very comfy; my only feedback here is that I was only given a single duvet. Seemed a bit daft for a double bed but again, solo traveller, so it didn't really matter. I'm sure that had I asked they would have happily provided a double duvet. I liked the little amusing signs everywhere and appreciated that they were in English despite being in Norway. The view from my room was exceptional. I arrived on a sunny evening and it was breath-taking - thank you for arranging that ;-) Above all, and most importantly for me, this hotel was incredibly clean. I can usually find something that will turn my stomach cleanliness-wise, but not at this hotel, it was immaculate. Thank you for a lovely stay :-)

The room wasn't huge, and a bit cramped for three people, but it was incredibly convenient for an early morning flight. Breakfast started at 4:50 AM, and even though it was cold, it was really substantial and satisfying. Very happy with it overall.

The good: Short walk from airport terminal (fully convered tunnel airport door-hotel square). Hotel is modern and art inspired, rooms are simple with current design (open storage, hangers, hold, niches) but well equipped kettle, coffee, fridge. Breakfast has a nice selection of options, and the area is spacious and bright. The bad: my shower drain was almost fully blocked , so after a bit of panic seeing the wardroom floor getting flooded I unclogged the drain (not very pleasant, and not something anybody should do in a Radisson). The check out is on a digital kiosk, a bit annoying as you've to enter some info that could be preloaded. Not a fan of this type of check out.

I'm giving it a high rating only because I don't want to ruin the rating. But I can definitely say I'll stay at other hotels if I have a layover in Oslo. There's no water in the room, so if you're thirsty, you can buy half a liter of water at the reception store for 47 NOK. Even at the airport, the prices are better and more welcoming.

Wonderful and fantastic hotel. I stayed uppermost all inclusive hotels in Turkey many times and I wittnessed such a good breakfast rarely. Celebrating them for such a good job. They also helped us and my children to see the ski resort and I think I will visit this facility for only ski next time. One thing I can criticize is the lack of the guidance for reaching to the hotel form Lorenskog train station because the ramps are very tiring for people with luggages. Fortunately a Norwegian citizen got our condition and directed us to the back of the hotel and saved us from going ramping up. Also there is no public transport from Lorenskog train station to such a good hotel. I hope they consider my opinions and take care about that.

Stay here a for night because it’s close to Unity Arena, and it’s super close to the venue, only couple minutes walking away. Hotel is very clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful! I happen to left some stuff in the room and they help me to find it without any problems. All the amenities are provided so don’t worry if you ran out of any toiletries on the road. Strongly recommended.

The hotel's style is a bit dated, but it's clean and odor-free. Its location is close to the airport, but you need to take a bus to get there (under 10 minutes); it looks close on the map, but it would take over an hour to walk. The hotel offers a free breakfast with a wide variety of options. For Oslo, the price is quite good.

This hotel was absolutely perfect! We booked two nights, June 18th and June 25th, because we had early morning connecting flights out of Oslo Airport on both days. We chose an airport hotel for convenience, and it turned out to be an excellent decision, especially since they offer free luggage storage, which saved us so much hassle. We were embarking on a trip that included an Arctic cruise, Lofoten, Iceland, and then warmer destinations like Portugal and Singapore, so we had to pack clothes for all seasons, resulting in two suitcases per person. On June 3rd, we flew into Oslo and immediately connected to Lofoten. Before our arrival, we'd asked if we could store some luggage at the hotel, and they quickly confirmed. We were even prepared to pay for it, but to our surprise, it was completely free! We ended up passing through Oslo five times during our trip, needing to swap out clothes each time. The hotel staff patiently helped us retrieve and store our luggage every single time, which made our journey incredibly smooth. We are so grateful to the hotel! The accommodation itself was also very good. We'll definitely be recommending it to our friends.
