Hotel located close to the airport with shuttle bus stop right in front of the main entrance. Room is adequate for a night's rest when on transit to our early morning flight the next day. Breakfast was served early and had a pretty good selection. It's a plus staying here if you are catching an early flight. Make sure to request for a room not facing the carpark or main entrance as it can be noisy with people arriving and leaving from the shuttle bus or cars.
I had to stay one night in Oslo to break up my journey from Longyearbyen to London, and as I was feeling exhausted I treated myself to a night in a lovely room here. The hotel is really nice and so handy for the airport, just a 5min car ride away or a short walk if you are up to it! The room was lovely, clean and kept up nicely. The amenities were good, I always appreciate a coffee machine, and the room service was excellent, as was the food. What most impressed me was that you wouldn’t know you were opposite a runway at the airport, you couldn’t hear a thing even when planes were barrelling up the runway at full throttle. Impressive sound dampening!! Definitely recommend.
It is a good hotel just for rest and leave the next day for your flight. Nice simple room with window reminds me of a prison cell. Most of the staff are not helpful or friendly to guests. (I feel like we were staying at a student dormitory and served by reluctant volunteer students) There were at least 4 groups of guests waiting at the lobby. None of us were greeted at the hotel or helped in making our stay or waiting comfortable at the lobby. It feels more like motel vibes. I would not come back to this hotel again.
There are no kettle or tea or coffee pack in your room like most hotels have. No bin in the room but only one in the toilet. No fridge.
FYI, there are no free hotel transfers from airport to hotel. You have to buy your own bus ticket.
Overall, not a good hotel experience but a good rest for your layover.
Ive been blessed with a lively quiet corner room. Comfortable mattress and bedding. Room decor is tasteful and excellent breakfast buffet. Above all outstanding service from the front desk employees Liam NBR , Karianne, and Rosemary. Thank you. Im back again for 5 days soon.
The breakfast at this hotel is incredibly significant. Also, this hotel has a gym, which is not so bad. In addition, the room is clean and spacious with a coffee maker. Although a fee is applied to the shuttle bus from the airport, which is not so good, I learned that it is usual in Norway. Thus, overall, this hotel was excellent.

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, easily accessible by both taxis and airport buses. The family rooms are a bit small with limited luggage space, and there's no kettle or drinking water in the room. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of delicious options. The reception staff and service in the restaurant are good.
Booked a night with my dad as we were in Norway for the Crystal Palace match, all seemed well when we arrived early in the morning and dropped our bags off before heading off for the game.
Upon returning in the evening, we went to check in and the self-check in kicked us out at the final steps three times - don’t offer this if it doesn’t work.
The staff were pleasant enough despite dealing with arrogant airline stewardesses (something I feel is a regular occurrence as they butt in front of us run-of-the-mill residents).
Heading up to the room my dad and I were greeted with a double bed DESPITE specifically booking a twin room and then being told that they were fully booked so we couldn’t be moved - don’t offer the choice of beds if you won’t / can’t accommodate it, it’s not fair on the paying guests who assume they will be met with what they’ve paid for.
The room itself was nice enough and perfect for the one night, it’s just a shame that the tech has let the hotel down from checking in, to having the correct room.
If this was rectified I’d recommend, but based on my experience, I’d try elsewhere first.
I stayed here for one night before heading into Oslo city, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. The location is incredibly convenient for travelers—just a short ride from the airport. The hotel may not be ultra-luxurious, but for a short stay, it’s absolutely perfect. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the overall environment was peaceful and relaxing. The lobby is spacious and beautifully designed—it gives a very open and welcoming first impression. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options (more than I could finish!). There’s even a gym available, which is a great bonus for a transit hotel. But what really stands out is the value for money—for the price I paid, this was way beyond what I expected. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing a convenient and comfortable stay near Oslo Airport. Totally worth it!
This hotel is fantastic; check-in was easy, check-out was easy, staff were helpful, professional and efficient. The breakfast was fantastic - having seen some negative reviews on other sites I can honestly say that I have no idea what they were talking about - maybe they were on glue? The room was perfectly sized for a solo traveller; a drawer might have been helpful so when I unpacked I had somewhere to put my clothes, but I was only staying for 2 nights so it wasn't essential. The bathroom was small but perfectly formed and functional. It was so clean it looked brand new. The bed was a double and very comfy; my only feedback here is that I was only given a single duvet. Seemed a bit daft for a double bed but again, solo traveller, so it didn't really matter. I'm sure that had I asked they would have happily provided a double duvet. I liked the little amusing signs everywhere and appreciated that they were in English despite being in Norway. The view from my room was exceptional. I arrived on a sunny evening and it was breath-taking - thank you for arranging that ;-) Above all, and most importantly for me, this hotel was incredibly clean. I can usually find something that will turn my stomach cleanliness-wise, but not at this hotel, it was immaculate. Thank you for a lovely stay :-)

First time to travel to Oslo and had a lovely time at Raddison Blue Oslo! Location: It was far from the station and it took longer than I expected. And it’s not easy to find a way at first and a bit quiet area so if you’re going first time better to arrive early during day time as it might be very dark to walk from the station. Or take taxi. Room: very clean and it was nice to have slippers and bathrobe. Bed was very comfortable. It was great to have not only kettle but also Espresso coffee machine. Only thing is showers water pressure was quite low , I was surprised since it’s Raddison blue. Stuffs: reception stuffs were very kind and nice, they kindly arrange me to stay at a room on see side so it was lovely to see sea from window. Surrounding: No shops are around so it’s a bit inconvenient but it was so wonderful to have a sea side path for a quiet long walk! Breakfast: variety kind of food and spacious restaurant.
Great hotel for early flights, would be impossible to be closer to airport. Room was quiet, beds were comfortable & staff friendly. We didn't use restaurant so cannot comment on that. My only suggested improvement would be to serve breakfast from 4 rather than 5 (given flight times & recommendation for non Schengen passengers with luggage to be there 3 hours early, this small change would mean those on 7:30 flights could also have breakfast).
