Whilst the hotel was very modern it seemed to lack basics such as a kettle in the room (there is a nespresso machine but for any tea drinkers out there they will know that making tea through a coffee machine is far from ideal) and being able to retrieve an iron. Instead you are expected to put items in for laundry when all we wanted to do was run an iron over a shirt for the evening. Pool area is stunning however has the most uncomfortable loungers you could ever find. They look great but the max stay to bathe is less than an hour before your entire body goes numb. It seems that this stunning hotel is trying to be a little above its star rating and failing on these few points at just trying that bit too hard for the clientele staying. Rooms were very clean although signs of some wear and tear are already starting to show. Location is EXCELLENT and staff helpful, polite and welcoming. Not sure if we would stay again as we are real sun worshipers and really struggled to enjoy the pool area here.

Bel hotel , bien qu'un peu vieux. Les piscines interieurs etvexterieurs sont super. Par contre le restaurant, en particulier les buffets du soir, sont trés decevants et pas du tout au niveau de l'hotel.

We had a lovely stay at ANC. We spent 2 nights there after flying in from NYC. It was nice to have the pool, the terrace and be in walking distance to the beach (even though when we went there was too much seaweed to swim) most of the people at the front desk were very helpful. You can also walk to Caloura. These were all good things as we got acclimated from jet lag. Peaceful. One person in particular helped me with reservations and good details on our plans. The dinner was good and the breakfasts seem to be the usual fare, a good variety. We’d recommend staying here.

I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED TO FIND A VERY COMFORTABLE WEEK'S STAY AT HOTEL INATEL. IT IS SMALL AND LOVELY AND EASY TO MANUEVER AROUND THE HOTEL OR TO WALK OR DRIVE TO THE CENTER AND WELL BEYOND THIS VERY CHARMING AND BEAUTIFUL GRACIOISA ISLAND. I FELT VERY AT HOME AT THE HOTEL. EVERYTHING WAS MANAGED VERY WELL BY THE ENTIRE STAFF. THE RESTAURANT SERVED A 3 COURSE DINNER THAT WAS BETTER THAN THE LOCAL RESTAURANTS AND COST LESS MONEY. I HOPE TO RETURN TO GRACIOSA TO THE CARAPACHO THERMAL BATHS AND THE HOTEL GRACIOSA INATEL THANK YOU, H.L. USA
Caloura Hotel Resort

Excellent hotel overall. Great location and friendly staff and great grounds/view. The experience there could be dramatically improved with just two small changes: 1. Poolside service - as it is, you have to get your own food and drink. Adding an app or call system would be awesome. A pool waiter/waitress would be amazing. 2. Better mattresses. They felt quite hard, like a budget mattress not appropriate to a nice hotel.
Atlantida Mar Hotel

Ons beste verblijf van de 6 Azoreneilanden/ Our best stay of the 6 Azores isles We verbleven slechts 2 nachten op 7 en 8 juni in een junior suite. Zeer ruim met een verblijfsruimte en bijhorende kleine keuken, slaapruimte met erg ruime bedden, badkamer en terras met uitzicht op de oceaan. 2 televisies aanwezig. Gebruik gemaakt van het buitenzwembad en van het bubbelbad. Erg vriendelijke receptie. Prima buffetontbijt met zeer grote keuze, ook aan vers fruit. De waren werden telkens opnieuw aangevuld. Het hotel ligt vlak iets boven de oceaan. Ertussen is er een 'wandelbaan' langs waar je op ca 10' stappen in het centrum van Praia komt met o.m. het O pescador restaurant. Zo kan je je auto bij het hotel laten staan en heb je gelegenheid om de Azoriaanse wijnen te proeven. Het was veruit ons beste verblijf en ontbijt van onze 6 bezochte eilanden (Sao Miguel,,Terceira, Graciosa, Sao Jorge, Pico en Faial). We hadden er normaal een dag langer willen verblijven maar onze planning voor de binnenvluchten en bootverbindingen liet en dit niet toe, daar er niet alle dagen vlieg- en bootverbindingen met alle eilanden (na Terceira, Graciosa) zijn. Komen we ooit terug naar de Azoren, dan is het in de eerste plaats Terceira , met de Atlantida Mar. We stayed in a junior suite for just 2 nights on the 7th and 8th of June. Very spacious with a lounge and associated small kitchen, sleeping area with very spacious beds, bathroom and terrace with a view of the ocean. 2 televisions available. Made use of the outdoor pool and hot tub. Very friendly reception. Excellent buffet breakfast with a large choice, including fresh fruit. The goods were constantly replenished. The hotel is located just above the ocean. In between there is a 'walking track' along which you reach the center of Praia after about 10 steps, including the O pescador restaurant. For example, you can leave your car at the hotel and you have the opportunity to taste the Azorian wines. It was by far our best stay and breakfast of our 6 islands visited (Sao miguel, Terceira, Graciosa, Sao Jorge, Pico and Faial). Normally we would have liked to stay there one day longer, but our planning for the internal flights and boat connections did not allow this, as there are not all days flight and boat connections with all islands (after Terceira, Graciosa). If we ever come back to the Azores, it will be Terceira in the first place, with the Atlantida Mar.
The Shipyard - Angra

The hotel is very new, clean, stylish and convenient. Breakfast is very good and healthy. Restaurant offered high quality food. We will stay again. Only one thing was my room was right above the restaurant kitchen I think. I could smell cooking smell from the washroom. The music was loud as well. I guess upper floor should have no issues. Reception was very helpful as well.

Hotel muito bom para ficar hospedado, seja para uma escapadinha ou para uma estadia durante um maior período de tempo. Fornece uma experiência agradável. Comodidades muito boas, decoração bonita, boa limpeza, funcionários simpáticos e prestáveis. Quartos espaçosos e cama confortável. Zona do spa, piscina, jacuzzi, etc, é agradável. Pequeno-almoço bom e variado e o jantar buffet é ótimo, com várias opções e comida saborosa.

Hotel agradável, excelente qualidade/preço, atendimento e conforto 5* , pequeno almoço muito bom, com mt diversidade e produtos mt bons. A única coisa que poderiam tentar melhorar é a internet que nao se apanha bom sinal nos quartos, no piso restio (recepção, sala pequenos almocos,bar,etc apanha-se bem,mas nos quartos o sinal é muito pouco. Mas independente disso o hotel é muito agradavel tal como o seu staff. Recomendo
