Hotel 4 Bintang di Montevideo, Uruguay

Me aloje 3 meses en el Pocitos Plaza Hotel, asi que mi experiencia es vasta al respecto del servicio que ofrecen. Era mi segunda vez ya que fui con mi hija en 2018. Es un lugar excelente en servicio, calidad y atencion muy amable al cliente, desde conseguir taxis cuando llueve mucho y es hora pico de trafico, hasta ayudarme a pesar la valija cuando sola no podia cargarla. El servicio es eficiente y cuidadoso, con una sonrisa amable siempre, si bien todos estan bien ocupados todo el tiempo. Trabaje en linea, y el internet fue estable y seguro, otro factor importante. Especialmente valore el profesionalis**o de la administracion, con Gervasio, Federico, Fernando, Martina (siempre tomando mate), Diego y el fabuloso Fabian, la amabilidad en persona! Todas las mucamas muy serviciales, pero la mejor para preparar y limpiar la habitacion fue Cecilia, a quien espero ver la proxima vez que vuelva a Montevideo. El te de la tarde fue siempre excelente, con variedad de tes y dulces para merendar. Una especial mencion a la sonrisa de Lucia en la cocina. Gracias Pocitos Plaza Hotel!!! Voy a extranarlos al volver a Toronto.

Nos quedamos sólo una noche y nos encontramos con un hotel moderno y cómodo, en una muy buena ubicación para conocer la zona de Buceo. La habitación muy cómoda, el desayuno buffet completo, variado y rico. La atención del personal muy buena también. Cerca del hotel se encuentra el Montevideo Shopping Center y en la zona hay varios restaurantes para comer. Aunque por la zona del hotel no se vio mucho movimiento, se sintió seguro. Volvería.

The hotel staff is great. The rooms are huge but need renovation. My bath tube had problems with water drainage. Taking a shower while the water reached my ankle. Not pleasant. The breakfast is fair enough. But had another issue. I asked for a fried egg and the waitress denied. “No more eggs”. A few minutes later a local guest asked and got it on a plate. As I questioned the double standard there was no understandable answer. Sad experience. At night the street are very dark around the hotel and there are plenty homeless people.

O apartamento que fiquei, apesar de ser no primeiro andar era ótimo, grande, ar/aquecedor bem silencioso, muitas tomadas (contei mais de 6 no total), tv bem grande, acredito que seja 50 polegadas, cama grade e confortável. O quarto possui uma mini cozinha com microondas e frigobar. Banheiro ok e com boas toalhas. O café da manhã foi satisfatório. Além da comodidade do apartamento, a localização é perfeita, em um raio de 700 metros tem dezenas de bons restaurantes e cafés: mexicanos, steakhouse, hamburgers, McDonald’s, Starbucks, entre outras opções, atravessando a rua tem um mini mercado, apesar de estar próximo à rua mais agitada de Punta Carretas, fica fora da bagunça, 1 quadra de distância, enfim ótimo custo benefício, gostei bastante. Atendimento também não deixou a desejar, simpáticos e solícitos. O estacionamento é limitado, porém mesmo que esteja cheio (o que é comum nos hotéis da região) tem várias ruas laterais onde é possível deixar o veículo estacionado sem problemas.

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel together with our 2 kids. We expected it to be a business hotel with comfort and some luxury. At least cleanliness. Well it wasn’t. It might be a 4 star hotel for Uruguayan standards, but for the rest of the world its more like a 2 star old fashioned 60s hotel. We had a family room (2 bedroom) on the 7th floor. Already exiting the elevator we knew what we could expect. Floors with old carpet and full with nasty stains. The entire floor smells old and a bit like old sigaret smoke. Pretty nasty actually. The room itself is similar. Old floor with broken tiles and edges. Really sober and uninviting room, no decorations whatsoever. No ceiling lights. Old furnishings. No curtains just a screen. A big disappointment actually. Gym wasn’t available. We took a look but I wouldt even dare using those old machines actually. Certainly when you consider the price per night this place just isnt worth it. So after a night we expected a breakfast with some sort of business standard. But also the breakfast is a big disappointment and actually pretty tasteless. I dont know what they add to the scrambled egg, but smells weird. Fruits are out of date and nasty. Dry bread. Cold scrambled egg. And due to covid it is not allowed to get to the food yourself. One (sometimes 2) person is helping everyone in the hotel, so that didnt really work out. On day 3 all of the sudden our cards to enter the room didn’t work anymore, ofcourse solved at the reception but still annoying and strange. Well at least the free wifi worked well here. Overall I would recommend to book a different place with a higher standard, NH is a bit of disappointment considering the price per night.

The Regency Park Hotel & Spa is located in Jacksonville northwest of MVD airport and 20km from the city centre. The hotel offers 48-room over 4 floors and has an outdoor- & indoor-pool. Free parking next door. Staffs are multilingual and friendly. Our spacious room was tastefully furnished and decorated with desk & chair, flat-screen TV, wardrobe & safe, coffee & tea facility and a balcony. We had a good double-bed, and a separate bathroom with toilet, washroom, bidet & shower over the bath. All was very clean. The area is quiet, but you hear the traffic on highway 102. At walking distance, you find the CCJ School and the San José de Manga church. Free Wi-Fi Internet. The breakfast is continental with cold cuts & cheese, bread & rolls, pastries, orange juice, tea & coffee. The a**osphere in the Regency Park hotel is modern and we had a nice stay. Recommended.

I hope that this hotel understands that needs a major update/renovation Our suites were fine in the sixteen floor with great views My room had the furniture jaded with stains Only one phone out of two that usually have I spent the whole stay with the phone not working (the policy we will make it right did not happen) I had to use my personal phone to contact my partner My TV had the volume super low Had to call two times and was finally fixed Both remote controls with wasted batteries We had breakfast included but we gave up after the first day The staff looks like tired upset to be there The quality of pastries as croissants and breads are super lame No spoons for your coffee The excused using the COVID but saw coffee spoons in room service lame cold cuts cold eggs and uncooked bacon I asked the girl in the stand to cook it well and it was returned in the same way raw pork us unhealthy (policy to make it right did not exist) The front desk staff is great but the seating area is a shame with old and stained seats This is a great property but a renovation is needed and the restaurant needs new staff and Chef

Super bem localizado e quartos espaçosos. Só isso de positivo. Usei filtro “estacionamento “ na pesquisa do Booking.com , mas nos 4 dias que ficamos , nunca tinha vaga. E eles não avisaram anda antes que tinha que reservar. Ou seja, um engodo. Embora fosse fácil estacionar na rua. Atendimento fraco e pouco cordial de uma forma geral. Quartos com manutenção a desejar : limo no mármore do banheiro, ar condicionado pingando e com barulho de água o tempo todo, no quarto do casal não havia edredom, só uma manta fina. O mais absurdo era o café da manhã. Às 10:30 em ponto, os atendentes corriam para retirar tudo ! Mesmo com o salão cheio, retiravam tudo ! Já vi não repor depois do horário, mas na hora exata, eles retiravam tudo sem nem passar nas mesas perguntando. Tudo com cara de industrializado. Parece que retiravam dos pacotes e colocavam nas porções. O ovo mexido tinha um líquido aguado e era frio, porque o réchaud estava sempre desligado. E se pedir ovos fritos são cobrados a parte. Linguiças frias com réchaud desligado tb. Em resumo, não vale o que cobra e nem volto. Pra ficar claro: localização maravilhosa. Procure outro hotel na mesma região.

Every aspect of the place exceeded my expectations. Excellent value for the price. The host was also fantastic. Nothing negative I can think of at all. The pictures speak for themselves regarding the excellent room I stayed in. :)
