I recently stayed at Hotel R9 and had a pleasant experience, giving it an overall rating of 4 out of 5. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for short stays like overnight visits. The unique concept of individual container rooms at Hotel R9 adds a touch of novelty to the experience. While the rooms may not be spacious enough for two males sharing a double room, they are still comfortable for couples. I found the rooms to be clean and well-maintained, earning a perfect 5 out of 5 for cleanliness. Although Hotel R9 lacks fancy facilities like hot spring pools, swimming pools, and saunas, it does provide a convenient laundry room. This is particularly useful for solo and family travelers on a long trip but with a short stay at the hotel. Additionally, the hotel offers the option to soak in a hot water bath, which is especially rejuvenating when feeling tired. In terms of facilities, Hotel R9 falls slightly short with a rating of 3 out of 5. However, considering its focus on providing a comfortable and unique stay, the overall experience compensates for the limited facilities. The hotel's location is excellent, receiving a perfect 5 out of 5 rating when driving. Exceptional Onsen Experience and Delicious Breakfast My recent stay at this hotel in Japan was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and attended to every detail with genuine hospitality. The highlight of my trip was undoubtedly the exquisite onsen bath house. Nestled amidst serene surroundings, the onsen offered the perfect blend of relaxation and rejuvenation. The facilities were immaculately clean, the water temperature was just right, and the tranquil atmosphere allowed me to truly unwind after a day of exploring. Each morning began with their amazing breakfast spread, featuring a wonderful selection of both Western and Japanese dishes. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were outstanding, and the presentation was as beautiful as the flavours were delicious. From freshly brewed coffee to traditional miso soup, every meal was a delightful start to the day. The rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive, making my experience truly memorable. I wholeheartedly give this hotel a five-star rating and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Japan. Whether you’re seeking a relaxing getaway, a cultural experience, or just a fantastic place to stay, this hotel exceeds expectations in every way.

Overall, this hotel is decent. It's conveniently located right below Ureshino Onsen Station, which is a plus. However, the lack of nearby restaurants and convenience stores is quite inconvenient. I'd actually recommend staying in Takeo Onsen instead, as it's a better area. On the bright side, the hotel staff are quite good; they were able to provide some useful information and recommendations, which was nice. Still, there's room for improvement.

The hotel has only 10 rooms, the facilities are new, 10 points clean, Japanese style and wind, there is a massage function in the open air, the staff is 10 points good, will call to remind you to eat dinner and breakfast, originally need to leave the hotel early, can not enjoy dinner, The hotel specially arranged breakfast at an early time, very considerate service. And the quality of the food is very high. The water pressure is enough. Arranged to eat in a separate room, private feeling 10 points is sufficient.

The transportation is very convenient, and the breakfast is okay. I stayed there twice. The facilities are indeed quite old, and the rooms are quite small. Two 24-inch beds spread out are difficult to fit, but for the price, it's a good deal. It's non-smoking and relatively clean. The service is also good, and email responses are prompt. The fish restaurant next door is also good and highly recommended!

This hot spring inn boasts a tranquil environment, clean and tidy rooms, and a very relaxing stay. The location is convenient and easy to find, the staff are very polite and provide detailed explanations of the facilities. The hot spring facilities are well-maintained, the water quality is pleasant, and the overall amenities are comprehensive. For a couple's vacation, the atmosphere and value are both satisfactory, making for a very smooth and enjoyable stay.

The room size was decent, plenty of entertainment on Level 1 *some are not free* and a foot bath right in front of the hotel. Put some mosquito repellent, we didn't even get to sit more than 5 mins because of mosquitoes. Loved their dinner buffet. Thanks to the free alcoholic drinks we got to sample a few different types of sake. The food was good and for the breakfast French toast was the best. The dinner buffet timing was only 1.5 hours but it was more than enough for us. The room pricing isn’t cheap but it’s definitely worth the value if you just want to spend a quiet and relaxing evening inside the hotel after visiting some of the attractions around the area.

Pros: Very close to Takeo Onsen Station, practically door-to-door. There's a hot spring on the 8th floor, though it's on the smaller side. The breakfast has a good variety, but it can get very crowded. You can borrow bicycles, which saves you from walking. Cons: I mistakenly booked a smoking room, and it smelled heavily of smoke – something to be aware of if you're sensitive to that. The soundproofing is poor; the noise from housekeeping outside my door was very loud, and I couldn't get any sleep, especially since I had a fever.

Green Rich Hotel Tosu is our first choice hotel in Tosu area. Location is very close to JR Station, many restaurants and supermarket nearby, very quiet at night, feel safe walking around. We will stay again in Green Rich Hotel Tosu if we visit Tosu next time.
