Absolutely fantastic and fun place with the most incredible Staff, like the super sunshine Rahul and the reception! He with his smile will make your day shine! Also Raju in the late hours is such a nice guy. Rajiv will make the probably best and nicest Cappuccino in Thamel.
The place is perfect to chill out and meet other travelers on the Rooftop Terrasse. The rooms are simple and have pretty much what one needs. Though the Diwnstairs rooms lack privacy if curtains are pulled open.
I recommend this place any day and will be back and looking forward to see all the lovely staff again!

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel.
The restaurant was excellent, and every meal was delicious and well prepared.
The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made it easy to relax.
Most of all, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, always making me feel welcome.
Thanks to their hospitality, my stay was truly enjoyable, and I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

⭐️ Wonderful Stay at Magnificent Hotel ⭐️
We had a truly pleasant stay in Pokhara at Magnificent Hotel. The location is excellent — close to Phewa Lake and within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafés, and shops, yet the atmosphere remains calm and relaxing.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything needed for a restful stay. The space feels bright and welcoming, and housekeeping keeps everything neat and fresh each day. After long days of exploring, it was the perfect place to unwind.
The staff made a strong impression with their kindness and professionalism. They were always ready to assist with directions, transportation, or local recommendations, and their warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome.
Another highlight is the peaceful environment and lovely views around the property, which add to the relaxing experience. Whether you’re visiting Pokhara for sightseeing or simply to enjoy the scenery, the hotel provides a comfortable and convenient base.
Overall, Magnificent Hotel offers great service, a convenient location, and excellent value. A very enjoyable stay — highly recommended for travelers visiting Pokhara! 🌄

I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful and made sure I had everything I needed during my visit. The location is perfect, with easy access to local attractions and transportation. Plus, the price is very fair for the quality of service and convenience offered. Very nice , clean , comfortable hotel ! The location is perfect as it is a little bit outside of Thamel so it’s quiet , but it takes 2 minutes to get to the crowded streets ! There is a nice restaurant in the hotel with very good food! The stuff is friendly and helpful ! Nita from the reception is very nice , really appreciate her help with everything ! Highly recommend this place for short stay and long stay !

Khách sạn tuyệt vời. Tôi ở căn phòng 17m với giá 25$ bao gồm ăn sáng. Phòng sạch sẽ, đầy đủ tiện nghi. Có bữa sáng hào phóng và những người nhân viên phục vụ rất tốt. Họ đã chuẩn bị đồ ăn tối cho tôi lúc 22:00. Thật nhiệt tình. Tôi đi công tác ở đây nhiều lần trong năm và chắc chắn sẽ quay lại khách sạn này. Nó thực sự tốt và chuyên nghiệp. Không có gì để chê với mức giá này.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Everest Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu! This hotel is a gem – beautifully designed in a traditional style, and everything feels brand new and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was a great start to the day, with a good variety of options including fresh juices, tea, coffee, fruit, toast, cheese, and delicious pastries.
What really set this hotel apart was their excellent tour desk. We booked our trek to Everest Base Camp with them, and it turned out to be the best decision! Not only did they offer us the most competitive price compared to all the other tour agencies we checked, but our guide, Ram Bhandari (who is also a staff member at the hotel), was truly outstanding. He was incredibly helpful, attentive to our safety throughout the entire trek, and ensured we had great accommodations along the way. We can’t recommend Everest Boutique Hotel highly enough – book with them, and you won’t be disappointed!

Он небольшой, но уютный, есть маленький сад со столиками. Расположение хорошее, все необходимое рядом.
Персонал отличный! Помогали по любому вопросу.
Мы попали в период протестов - нами интересовались, предостерегали. Приложили максимум усилий, чтобы доставить нас в аэропорт.
Люди, которые там работают очень приятные, отель хороший, но нужно немного с чистотой поработать. Если поеду в Катманду, то однозначно в этот же отель, рекомендую!

GGuest UserThe room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it.
Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out.
At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service!
Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on.
I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw!
Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome.
All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return.
As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

GGuest UserI stayed for 2 nights, it didn't feel safe for me as a solo woman traveller. One the first night around 11pm there were 3-4 men shouting and laughing and knocked my door. I was scared and called the reception. The phone wire was not connected to the phone, i have to hold it tight to the phone while i was speaking. It was a terrifying experience. When in emergency even the phone wasn't working! the receptionist took 30 min to for the men to calm down. The next day morning the receptionist told me they men moved out. But i saw them in the evening in the hotel. Didn't feel safe. Again, the men, shouting and aloud. Still i couldn't sleep there, awake whole two nights i stayed there, didn't feel safe. The place was clean. Location was good.

SSouled OutClean rooms, wide stairs, daily breakfast, any request can be arranged. The hotel boasts quiet corner, away from whitles, honks and motorcyclists left and right. Short walk to center, can access to halal chinese food after a left, then a right and another left at the junction. All within 5 mins to 10 mins walk. Airport pick up is a plus service. A minimart just 3 mins walk if you need some snacks.

GGuest UserMy wife and I stayed for one night on March 31st. All the staff are friendly and made our stay enjoyable. We ordered several dishes at the attached restaurant and were completely satisfied with every dish. It took a few minutes for the shower hot water to come out, but the staff explained the details in advance so we could enjoy the hot water without worrying. We recommend this hotel.

PPascalHad a terrible experience at this hotel - booked it as a first stop in Kathmandu on arrival in Nepal, place to put my luggage while trekking and a last night before flying out of the country.
There is no provision for bag check - no tag given or the like. Asked if could leave / check my bag was told yes and to leave infront of front desk. Two weeks later when I returned to the hotel bag was still in the lobby infront of front desk. Things were missing of course - none of great enough value to argue, but the fact they couldn’t even be bothered to move the bag a few feet to a closet / holding space or the like is indicative of the way this place rolls.
Tried to book a shuttle for early morning to airport through hotel, listed as included service. Despite confirming and reconfirming, they arranged nothing. Instead at 5:15 AM it became a game of let’s make a deal and see how much we can charge while providing no evidence there was even a driver. In the end I gave up and carted my luggage to the street to get a taxi.
Nepal is a wonderful country - this hotel was a consistent bad experience. Rooms themselves are meh - didn’t try the free breakfast, on site restaurant was pretty good, atmosphere/ food. This isn’t a cheap hotel by local standards - for the price point there are much / many options in the area.

GGuest UserThis is the second time I'm leaving a review for Kumari Boutique Hotel. I stayed here for a few months and it really felt like home. The rooms are super clean and equipped with everything you need. The area is great, in the heart of Thamel yet quiet and peaceful. Many cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. The staff are super friendly, professional, and accommodating. A huge thank you to the Kumari team for making my stay pleasant and comfortable. You guys are wonderful :). I will definitely come back when I visit Kathmandu again. I highly recommend it.

The service attitude of the staff at night is good, but the service attitude during the day is average.
In the evening, my friend in Kathmandu sent me to the hotel to pick up my luggage and take me to the airport. The hotel staff was even more hospitable.

The Air is much cleaner at these heights. A lovely view to be seen from the roof top upon the city down below. There is a room up there, for yoga, for exercise, or meditation. An elevator takes you there, but you can climb the stairs, if you wish, especially to prepare for a mountain trek – there is an ample storage room in that regard. Boudha Apart is owned by a Sherpa family, originally from Lukla, so there are many good contacts with the high mountain community.
The hotel is fairly new, and that means nothing is broken. That is to say also, that it is well maintained, that the guests are not a rowdy sort, and they are mindful of each other's tranquility. The rooms are well thought out, and many have a sun facing balcony. Both sink and shower have abundant hot water, adjustable as you like. On the ground floor is a large restaurant, with a diverse menu of local cuisine, and western comfort foods. The basement is a parking garage for cars and bikes. The staff is of good cheer, and supportive of your adventures and plans. They, most conveniently, pick up and deliver to the airport. There is also a car and driver for various tours, as you will.
And finally to say, the price to value is most fair, as one compares to other hotels in the region.

TTangchaoheiyanquanLocated in a quiet alley, the place was reasonably clean, and there was a supermarket right outside, making shopping very convenient. In the mornings, the staff greeted me warmly with ”Good morning!” Having a Nepalese meal followed by the hotel breakfast was wonderful!
