GGuest UserMixed review, but overall too pricy hostel for the quality of the service. Having a good location and a cute decoration isn’t enough. Pros and cons below :
Pros :
- Amazing location in the heart of the Medina ideally located
- Cute hostel with beautiful tiles
- Kind and helpful staff
Cons :
- The room we booked in advance was not available when we arrived. Instead of a double bed room, we were put in a bunk beds room with no explication or apologies. No solution, accommodations or compensation were offered to us afterwards. Very poor service from the hotel on that side and I saw online afterwards it’s not the first time they’re doing that
- Noisy hostel with no soundproof rooms at all. All the rooms are close to each other and open to the dining area with the breakfast starting at 7:30am and people coming back very late at night. Earplugs very much needed
- Average breakfast, the quality of the products is poor knowing what is available in the area. Be careful with water as some plastic bottles for breakfast are filled with tap water
- Be aware you’ll have to walk at least 5min in little paved streets after taking off your taxi and finding a taxi to leave the area won’t be always very easy

AAnonymous UserOverall, this place offers great value for money. This street is full of hotels named after different countries. The hotel is on a somewhat run-down street, and yes, there will be trash, but it also gets cleaned up. If you're booking a day tour, it's not too far from the meeting point. It was Ramadan, and the owner recommended a good place to eat. The room was quite comfortable for a solo traveler. You might need to ask the front desk for a hairdryer.

GGuest UserMy stay at Ambassadeurs Hôtel was quite pleasant. The service was attentive and professional, with the staff always ready to assist with any requests. They made sure I felt welcome and comfortable throughout my stay.
The facilities were well-maintained and offered everything needed for a relaxing experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, providing a cozy environment to unwind. The common areas, including the lobby and lounge, were inviting and tastefully designed.
Regarding the food, I only had breakfast at the hotel, and it was a delightful experience. The breakfast spread was generous, with a good variety of options to choose from. The quality of the food was excellent, with fresh ingredients and well-prepared dishes. I particularly enjoyed the selection of pastries and the fresh fruit. The dining area was pleasant, with a calm atmosphere that was perfect for starting the day.
Overall, my experience at Ambassadeurs Hôtel was enjoyable, with great service, comfortable facilities, and a satisfying breakfast.

KKzeA very pleasant stay. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, spacious, and cleaned daily. However, the soundproofing could be improved: the noise from the hallways is quite audible. Another point for improvement is the hot water, which is inefficient in the morning, with very little hot water available, unlike in the afternoon and evening.
The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Tunis, just a 2-minute walk from the train station and about an 11-minute walk from the shared taxi station serving the southern cities.

Excellent hotel to satay in for business traveller solo traveller and for a weekend in the capital ,loved the breakfast, 100% i recommend to all friends and family members and to anyone wanting to spend time in the capital Tunis as its close to everything you need.
Looking forward to staying at carlton hotel in my next trip

GGuest UserThis hotel is everything it promises. Great service, great facilities, wonderful food and bar and safe town centre location. The locality gives one access to virtually everything one needs in terms of shops, services and amenities. You need a haircut or shave - 2 minutes walk; you need a mall - 2 minutes walk; a hammam - back of the hotel; you want to eat out - just step out - got the drift? I would stay here again any day. Oh, and the showers had great flow.

GGuest UserGreat location and very kind staff, let me check in early and left me in peace for the duration of my stay. Hotel is a little dated and amenities are a little basic but it’s cosy and has nice views. Balcony door didn’t open but wasn’t too much of an issue. For the price and location this is a good option.
