This hotel is really great. Good location, by the lake. Free parking and breakfast. Clean room and most of the amenities are self service which is my favourite.

We booked for 2 nights using an app. When booking two nights straight, it will be more expensive than booking two nights seperately. The first night, the app suggested a disability room. I told the lady at the front desk if that room is needed for someone in need I don't mind changing. The room has a little more space than the 2nd room we had, but overall I would say much cleaner...with a funny smell. The second room, as soon as you get in, it smelled humid and mold; there were mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and all around the tub. Two of the towels were undone as if they were already used, and only has 1 set of towel for a 2 person staying. There were squashed bugs on the wall. On the bed, it seemed like someone stepped on it with their shoes on. (See pictures) All the staffs are very nice. I asked for extra towels and pillow cases and the lady at the front desk brought them to our room.

Conveniently located close to the airport. They have a free shuttle that runs through the night. Excellent place to stay for middle-of-the-night or early morning flights.

We stayed here on the last night of our Nova Scotia trip because we wanted to be close to the airport. The rooms are beautiful. The check in process was kind of informal- we just had to go down to the bar and find a certain person, and paid her right then on a portable card reader. The reservation was done through email. It was kind of warm, as only one of the bedrooms had an a/c unit, and we didn't notice it at night. FYI, it's above the window and the remote is inside the desk! We stayed in the Thomas Suite, which has two bedrooms.It's on the top floor. I think the other rooms are smaller. There is a common area on the second floor where the coffee maker and microwave are. They had a few board games, a fireplace, couch and a balcony. There was cold water in glass decanters in the fridge, and all the glassware was chilled in the fridge as well. There was yogurt and juice in the common room fridge, and our breakfast consisted of muffins, fruit, and granola bars. It was noisy until the restaurant closed, but after that it was pretty quiet. The one drawback was getting there. It is on a busy road (we arrived at rush hour), and there is only one way in and out. The parking lot is kind of small, but there were a couple of spaces when we got there. Also, when we came in off the highway, our GPS instructed us to turn left at the stop sign, which was next to impossible. I gave up and turned right, and there is a roundabout about a block that way where you can make a U-turn.

We had a great stay ( July 3rd and checked out on July 5th). We stayed here for three days in 2018 as well. Lily at the front counter was awesome, as well as the other ladies. They were very friendly, polite, and professional. The room was clean and spacious, even with all the dampness outside. We would definitely recommend this motel for anyone that is looking somewhere to stay close to Lunenburg. Cheers Harvey & Shirley Lohnes Winnipeg MB.

Having read some decidedly uncomplimentary reviews I had my concerns prior to arriving. However we had no issues..staff were pleasant, bedrooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. We enjoyed two nights here without any complaints! With many thanks

First of all, this hotel's staff and accomodation was fine but I wanted to warn travelers of the deceptive booing site as I couldn't find a Tripadvisor category for online booking sites. I entered the hotel name 'Travelodge Suites by Wyndham New Glasgow Nova Scotia' figuring I was booking directly with the hotel but I ended up on a site called ' GUEST RESERVATIONS' but it had the hotel site highlighted.I booked the hotel at a decent rate , it advised me there would be additional tax which I expected. Next step was credit card entry which I entered and confirm ...... The confirmation came back with a total 65% higher than the room rate , advising of a booking site ' Recovery fee' !!! The taxes were $21.00 only but another $51.00 in so called recovery fee of which there is no explanation or breakdown. This is a NO REFUND site even though I tried to cancel 10 min after booking , called their 1 800 number but only got a recording. I advised the Travelodge GM upon my arrival about this hidden fee, she advised us that she gets regular complaints about the site and has passed them on to WYNDHAM but head office ' didn't care ' . My advise is AVOID using any booking site titled ' GUEST RESERVATIONS' and avoid WYNDHAM hotel site .... unless of course you don't mind paying hidden fees !!

The Truro Hampton Inn didn't disappoint: I had a king room at the end of a long corridor and the room had everything you need / expect. There was large TV, microwave, fridge, coffee machine with choice of coffee and some tea, plenty of charger points, and a chaise longue to relax in. It's located close to the highway but there wasn't any traffic noise that I noticed, no noise from other guests, and it's close to a couple of restaurants / cinema and Tim Hortons. Breakfast was great : lots of cooked options, pastries, cereals with milk in individual cartons, and there was a reasonable amount of seating available, with a choice of table, bar, more comfortable seating. A good choice for business travelers working in the area and also if, like me, you need somewhere convenient for getting back to Halifax Stanfield airport or don't want to go too far after a long / late flight.

I recently stayed at the Garden South Park Inn while visiting Halifax and I'm so glad I did! The B&B was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and the location was perfect! I picked this B&B so I could park my rental and walk around beautiful downtown Halifax. My only criticism would be to offer breakfast earlier. Breakfast starts at 7:45 am and most people who are in town on vacation like to get an earlier start. Myself and other guests were waiting in the beautiful lobby waiting for our breakfast and all commenting that an earlier breakfast would have been better. Other than that, I loved my stay at the Garden South Park Inn and would gladly stay again.

This was a great little hotel! We were in the area for our daughters wedding and stayed for a week. Pros: Clean and comfortable queen sized bed Coffee maker Good shower temperature Large mini fridge & microwave Free breakfast Free parking Pull out sofa Huge tv - could use our fire stick Nice staff Food options and a small store across the street Extremely close to McKay bridge Nice and quiet at the back Negative: A little grungy in the corners Tip: Brings lots of loonies and quarters - the bridges have a $1.25 toll there and back. It’s worth it when you’re paying less for a large room. And KOD across the street was good! And if you want to do the Halifax boardwalk, park at Salter Lot :)

Overall, our stay was well however at the time we were there the heating of the room is really high.

I don’t agree with most of these negative reviews. You get what you pay for. If you want a hotel with fancy amenities, then pay a five star price. If you’re looking for a cheap hotel to rest and aren’t too concerned about your amenities then this is a great hotel. Room was super clean, nice microwave and mini fridge. TV and wifi ******, A/C was a bit dated. It may not be my first choice if I was travelling with children or anyone with mobility issues but if you are able to get around and are travelling solo/a couple people and looking for a clean place to sleep while visiting the city then I’d definitely recommend. I had no issues with the staff, there were nothing but friendly and kind. Slept with the window open, a bit of street noise and you could hear a lot of noise from the hallways but wasn’t bothersome. I felt safe here.

Kebersihan: 100 mata Perkhidmatan: 99 mata, secara amnya baik, tetapi satu mata ditolak apabila sarapan pagi hanya mengandungi telur sebagai sumber protein. Saya bertanya kepada kakitangan perkhidmatan, tidak ada daging, ham, daging, tiada langsung. Kemudahan: Ia kelihatan bersih, tetapi kolam renang terlalu sesak dan gimnya agak kecil. Mungkin hotel terbaik di Sydney. Secara keseluruhannya ia melebihi jangkaan saya.

I'd like to be clear now, that the hearthstone doesn' get a bad review from me. Our room and stay has been pleasant and nice and the staff has been friendly and helpful. The one star (which should be none) goes to the restaurant located within, which is conveniently for them not listed on Yelp. The ”ISLA KUSINA International Cuisine” or ”The Kusina” is severely overpriced for the food and undersized portions you get. My son and I went in for dinner last night, He ordered a poutine with a side option of chicken tenders which was 8$ plus 4$ for the chicken tenders add on. I ordered Pasta linguini with bacon and garlic bread which was 18$ + 2 soft drinks. HERE IS WHAT WE GOT: My son got a medicore poutine served in a cereal bowl and those 4$ chicken tender add ons? They were only 2 crappy frozen chicken fingers right out of a box. My Pasta ALSO came in a cereal bowl, there was no bacon and the garlic bread was a puny stale chunk of buttered bread that was re-heated in a microwave. I also ordered a half lb of wings and in return I got 5 pitiful wings that had barely any meat on them. After taxes our meal came to almost 60$. Today the only reason we came in again for breakfast was that the Hearthstones website and all its affiliated booking sites said that breakfast is included free in your stay. (It's not) and we didnt find that out until we were ready to sit down and eat. We got the ”guest deal” that was advertised as an ”all included $7.99 breakfast” (It wasnt.) WHAT WE GOT: My son got a puny undercooked pancake (which he said had a bad texture and taste, so he couldnt even eat it) and undercooked potatoes, with a puny portion of scrambled eggs and I had to pay $2.99 extra for him to only get 2 pathetic slices of bacon. My order was listed as toast, eggs, (notice that eggs is plural) 2 sides of meat, and hashbrowns. I GOT: 1 slice of toast (that wasnt toasted, it was like someone stuck it in an arm pit.) 1 egg (not eggs) 1 slice of bacon, 1 breakfast sausage, and the same undercooked potatoes. I'd also like to point out that although advertised as included, We were charged extra for a small orange juice and a watered down coffee. When we were finished our ”free breakfast” came to 25$. I'm not happy whatsoever and now my son is sick in bed in our room from the undercooked food.
