Great hostel and great excursions. Spacious and clean rooms but toilets could be more clean (personnel was always trying to keep it clean so I think it was because of other guests). You can use the fridge and microwave for free, to that was a plus :). The staff were always available if we needed anything and always tried to help. They give you great local recommendations for food.
I would come back for sure!

The owners are very nice and kind. The room was basic but had everything that we needed. The carpet in the room could use some better cleaning, but other than that, it was okay.
The location is very good, with lots of restaurants around. A bit far away from the center, but the metro is very close.

The location and staff are excellent. The price is a bit higher than other hostels, but it’s understandable given the prime location. You’ll need to make your own bed, as they provide the bedding for you upon check-in. The staff are friendly and happy to offer recommendations for sightseeing in Lanzhou. Thanks for the hospitality!

직원들이 친절하고 좋음. 방은 깨끗함. 샤워실도 괜찮은데 약간 하수구 냄새가 올라옴. 세탁기와 건조기가 있어 좋은데 각 1대라서 기다려야함. 손님들중에 예의없이 큰소리로 장시간 떠드는 사람들이 있는데 호텔측이 주동적으로 대응을 하지않아 직접 불만을 제기해야 함. 주변에 먹자골목이 있어서 좋음.

“一個人旅行住的，衝著價格和位置來的。青旅價格住標間，要啥自行車！房間乾淨，熱水充足。前台小哥挺熱情，問了去省博物館的路線，講得很清楚。酒店離財經大學近，晚上去旁邊學生街逛了逛，吃的多還便宜。對於背包客和學生黨，絕對超值。”

房間可以，衞生條件也挺好的乾淨，唯一不好的就是這個位置填的不行，上面寫的省政府地鐵站，然後我從省政府地鐵站出來找了半天沒找到打開導航發現在秦安路，這是兩個地方壓根不搭邊啊，當然了我也沒説這個地方不好，衹是大熱天的從省政府走到秦安路累死了，説遠不遠，説近也不近，就一站路，過個馬路就到了，就是讓人坐錯地方了有點煩，還有那個洗髮水就兩小罐，個人感覺有點少了，出去一趟回來就要洗一次澡不然身上黏糊糊的，但是有怕用完了下次沒有了，這點有待提高，有可能酒店已經想到了，衹要打電話前台就會送過來，這個我也不太清楚，所以不能下定論，不過總體來説挺好的，

延遲退房至15:00:這個絕對有，如果旅遊的朋友一定要訂這家，就算第二天再換個酒店，這個酒店也是非常好的選擇，三點退房，出來就可以入住下一家，不會讓你在外面等着兩點才可以，別的酒店都是十二點，睡都沒睡醒，再説了以前都是兩點退房，現在基本上都十二點了，就這家兩三點退房，這個人性化服務非常好，是賴床夥伴們的福音，我就是想反應一下這個省政府地鐵站這個東西趕緊改了，太扯了，要是打車我肯定會説省政府地鐵站，就完事了，到時候有得走過去所以就這點不行

The only thing I would strongly suggest is to change the materass, really thin and hard.

GGuest UserThe hotel is just a three-minute drive from the entrance of Maijishan Grottoes. The owner is very hospitable and drove us to the entrance when we went to visit the grottoes.
Before booking, I called the boss in advance and he suggested that we only book the 80 yuan cave ticket. After checking in on the first day of Qingming Festival, we were sent to the entrance of the grotto scenic area at 8:10 on the second day. It was less than 10 o'clock when we finished visiting and went down the mountain. At this time, the queue at the entrance was expected to take three hours to go up the mountain, so it was very important to choose to check in at the entrance of the scenic area.

When staying in the wilderness, the first thing is to look at the scenery. The scenery of the desert hills is not to mention. Although it is at the foot of the mountain, it is still refreshing.
It’s also great to take photos in an open space. They gave us guidance on how to take pictures of the starry sky and provided a mobile phone holder. It was great. PS. If you come here, be sure to ask the housekeeper or the boss for a candlelight lantern (the store will provide it for free). The atmosphere for taking photos is great. Got it
In terms of meals, we ordered a barbecue from the store and ate on the terrace of the room (four people can sit on it, and if more than four people eat on the sand below the terrace)

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, with many places to eat around. The room is large! Clean and tidy. The front desk lady is very enthusiastic and the service is in place. Parking is convenient, you can park on the ground or underground!

GGuest UserThis is a very nice hotel right on a pedestrian street lined with food stalls and restaurants. At night mobile food carts get rolled in and positioned along the center of the street adding yet more food choices! In addition to this, just a short walk away is a huge pedestrian shopping street along with an underground shopping complex accessed through street level escallators.
Although the hotel is on a pedestrian street it is really just about 3/4 block from a street with vehicle access. This hotel is a bit difficult to find though, because individual street address numbers are difficult to find. The best thing is to look for a huge Hanting Hotel logo on the right side of the pedestrian street as you head up from the traffic street along the river. The sign is blue with a white horse! The entrance to the hotel itself looks more as if you are entering a coffee shop because of the street entrance signage. But power past all the tables for people having coffee, and you can find the hotel front desk at the back.
As mentioned before, the hotel is quite close to the Yellow River and just a short walk to the ”Iron Bridge” (AKA Zhongshan Bridge) and all that neighborhood offers!
One drawback to the hotel is that to get into the entrance there are some narrow steps. Level entrances are always best!
Yet, I would definitely stay in this hotel again! (And when you are in Lanzhou, be sure to try Lanzhou Beef Noodles!)

AAnonymous UserWe had an excellent experience here! The location is great, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and Dafo Temple. The non-smoking room truly had no cigarette smell and was clean. The shared bathrooms were also clean (the staff cleans them several times a day). Upon checking in, they sent us files with tips, recommendations, and information about the tours they organize (it's possible to book round-trip transportation to Danxia in the afternoon for 40¥). The hostel staff were very kind and helpful. We felt welcomed and well taken care of here. The only area for improvement would be the Wi-Fi quality, which was slow in the evenings, but this was minor compared to all the other positive aspects. We would certainly return on a future trip to Zhangye!

The hotel environment is great, the decoration style is simple but stylish, the room environment is clean and tidy, and the room facilities are just right, making people feel very relaxed. We stayed on the 13th floor, with a wide view of the Wanda Mao Shopping Center opposite. The room is equipped with a smart door lock, which is safe, fast and convenient. There are plenty of public parking spaces near the hotel, and the price is relatively reasonable. The facilities in the room are also complete, with drum washing machines and refrigerators, and the details show quality. And the hotel is in a super convenient location, and it is very convenient to eat and go shopping around. Highly recommended!

Overall, price is good with two breakfast included, plenty of options.
I was a bit upset when they charged us for the water we drink. There were water bottle in the room without any prices and we supposed it was for free.
There is no water or juices for breakfast only soy milk or full cream milk. But lots of vegetarian options.
There was a water dispense downstair for free available to refil water bottle, so don't do our mistake and just have the free one.
If we knew this in advance we could avoid to drink water in the room and avoid plastic bottle waste (as we travelling with bicycles we care about to be in a green way for our planet.)
Nobody explain us about charging items on the room during the check in, only the lady during the check out charged us.
This is the higher price we paied in trip.com since 20days of travel, but anyway we think is still good because two breakfast are included.

RRomina, ArgentinaSpectacular is an understatement! The hotel is beautiful and for the price, even more so. The view was incredible from my window and the staff was nothing short of lovely and friendly.
I will definitely be back.

GGuest UserI stayed only one night here. This hotel is really clean and the pictures accurate. It seems that the room has been renovated recently, it is nice really practical.
You can reach the castle (the fort) easily by walking. Even though the owner doesn't speak English, with a translation App we managed to understand eachother. He drop me off at the train station early morning. I recommend this hotel. This comment has been written by a French traveller.
Je suis resté ici une seule nuit. Cet hôtel est vraiment propre et les photos correspondent bien. Il semblerait que la chambre ait été rénovée récemment, et elle est vraiment mignonne et pratique. Il est facile de rejoindre le fort à pied. Bien que le propriétaire ne parle pas anglais, il est aisé d'échanger avec lui grâce à une application de traduction. Il m'a déposé à la gare de bon matin, ce qui fut très pratique. C'est une personne très serviable. Je recommande cet hôtel. Ce commentaire a été écrit par un voyageur français.
