Hotel 2-Star di Gansu, China

We had an excellent experience here! The location is great, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and Dafo Temple. The non-smoking room truly had no cigarette smell and was clean. The shared bathrooms were also clean (the staff cleans them several times a day). Upon checking in, they sent us files with tips, recommendations, and information about the tours they organize (it's possible to book round-trip transportation to Danxia in the afternoon for 40¥). The hostel staff were very kind and helpful. We felt welcomed and well taken care of here. The only area for improvement would be the Wi-Fi quality, which was slow in the evenings, but this was minor compared to all the other positive aspects. We would certainly return on a future trip to Zhangye!

The staff was very friendly. As I don't speak Chinese, we both use translation app and it went very well. The room was clean and spacious. It is very conveniently located close to the Ganquan Park and Dafo temple. I could also store my luggage.

Very good, the boss is also nice, the electric blanket is not cold, it is worth staying in my memory so many people drifting to the Hong Kong intersection, my memory is so? My memory is so?

The room was small for a family room, and we were unable to make the air conditioning unit work well, thus my children had problems to sleep. However, the staff were very helpful, and I recommend the hotel because of the staff and the location, with nice restaurants nearby. I recommend to the hotel the installation of slow car charging stations in the parking, as it would create a new source of revenue

I stayed in a 4-person room. The room was minimalist and medium-small, with lockers – basic but comfortable. The common area is stylish and inviting, with plenty of seating, cozy corners, plants, kettles, and power outlets, though it’s on a high floor with a glass ceiling – warm when hot, cozy when cold, and the few fans aren’t always enough. The staff at the desk were friendly, laundry facilities available, though no snacks or cold drinks. The area is urban, among regular buildings, so not particularly attractive from the outside, but within walking distance to the museum and the metro station, with a large supermarket and several food options nearby. Overall, a decent place to stay in Lanzhou.

The hotel rooms are spacious and bright, warmly and comfortably decorated, and the bedding is soft and clean, allowing people to have a good rest. The facilities in the room are all well-maintained and very convenient to use. The hotel's environment is also very elegant, and the public areas are clean and tidy.

This was just a stopover on our way back from Xinjiang, but it absolutely exceeded our expectations! It's a newly opened hotel, incredibly well-equipped and spotless. We loved the smart curtains and smart toilet. Easy parking was available right at the entrance. Not far away, we found two popular BBQ spots: Da Pang Zi BBQ and Cheng Bian Bian BBQ. We chose Da Pang Zi and were truly blown away – it was absolutely top-tier! The young lady at the front desk was incredibly warm, friendly, and professional.

”Traveling alone, coming for the price and location. Youth Hostel price to live in a standard room, what kind of bicycle do you want! The room was clean and hot water was sufficient. The front desk brother was very enthusiastic and asked about the route to the provincial museum, and he was very clear. The hotel is close to the University of Finance and Economics, and went to the student street next to it at night. Eat more cheap. For backpackers and student parties, absolutely great value.

When I first arrived at the hotel, I saw that the front door was inconspicuous. I remembered the room I saw on Ctrip. I had high hopes. The front desk quickly checked me in and sent me a travel guide. We booked a three-room family suite. I was very happy when I opened the door. The quiet room was bright and clean. There were buckwheat hearts in the pillows and the quilt was silk. The store owner was very attentive. The front desk also sent mineral water in the hot summer. The store owner was very considerate. I also made a return visit after checking out. The store owner was very sincere. There are many restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel. It is not far from the provincial government subway station and a 3-minute walk from the Zhangye Road Vegetable Market. I will stay here again when I go to Lanzhou next time.

I booked a bed in the female dormitory for 2 nights, my friends booked other beds/rooms. The hostel has all the necessary amenities. There is even a washing machine if you need to do laundry. The bedding was fresh and clean. Plenty of sockets for charging devices. You will need to bring your own shower gel for the shower and the toilets are squat toilets which is standard in China. Met a lovely German girl while staying here. The host is a lovely and very helpful woman, she assisted us with any queries and even gave us some watermelon while we waited for our driver. If you want to visit any of the popular tourist spots in the Zhangye area she can organise a car tour for you and very reasonable prices- all very easy through WeChat. I visited the rainbow mountains/Zhangye National Geopark/Zhangye Danxia Geopark (张掖国家地质公园) and Mati Si temple (马蹄寺) while in Zhangye. The hostel is in a very good location too. The common area is nice and there is a tea station where you can help yourself to a cup of tea. All in all a very pleasant stay and I would stay here again.
