房間還挺寬敞，衞生間也挺大，整體還可以，前台服務挺熱心，早餐種類齊全，有自己的停車場，但是周邊全是工地，關鍵價格優惠，節日期間也沒漲多少，我們出行都是打車，打車很方便，去景點都不遠，就是隔音不好，一大早6點就能聽見工作人員在樓道里説話，清清楚楚，還有上下樓梯的聲音！

By far the best accommodation in Chengde, in relation between price and quality. The service was amazing!!! I don't know how much money the reception ladies make, but they deserve a raise, every single time I had a question they were able to answer, from places to go, to places to eat. Limited english support, of course, but a translation app does the job. The room I stayed in was male-only. The beds all had curtains, an indoor light, and a private plug for charging, so no complaints. The in-room bathroom was always clean aswell. The only con would be the amenities, no towel, no toothbrush, but I had brought my own so not a problem for me, and this is begging to look like common practice at hostels worlwide. And you need to make your own bed. Aside from that everything was perfect.

Host was super friendly and very hospitable. Started off by waiting for us outside the homestay awaiting our arrival @ 12 am at night. Drove us to and from Jinshanling. Also drove us out to beijing for another hour. Very knowledgeable and shared with us the history of the Great Wall too. Would definitely come back here on my next visit. Thank you! 😁

Wonderful location just at the entrance of Chengde Mountain Resort. Possibly walkable from Chengde rail station (not Chengde South / Chengdenan). Friendly front desk staff. Had initial issue with in-room wifi router. Resolved by changing room. The room itself was located at the back of the main building. Bathroom was a bit odd; showering will wet the toilet bowl seating area. Hot water initially didn’t work well but eventually improved. Note that the reception will require ¥100 deposit; best if paid cash so that you get the cash back on checkout (whereas using AliPay or credit card may take some time for the money to be returned). Generous daily housekeeping with towel changes and bottled water. Refillable drinking water was also available at the lobby. Lots of eating options around the hotel area. Buses to Puning Temple are also easily accessible and very frequent.

房間乾淨、佈局合理，一家五口大人住正合適。老闆很友好，我們早到了2個小時、晚走1個小時，沒有額外收費。 室內廚房、洗衣等設施齊全，如果有自己開火的客人可滿足需求。 地下停車位免費。 酒店可以吃早餐，98元一位。其實如果提前從超市買好餐食在房間吃比較划算。

I got some promotions through Trip.com, so I only paid 100yuan for the night. The location of the hotel is good, nearby Jinshanling great wall, the rooms are nice for the price and clean. The host is very kind and helpful + he speaks English very well! Took me to Jinshanling at 0330 in the morning and helped me to buy a ticket. Also gave some good tips regarding the wall. Downsides were that the mattress is really thin and hard, noise from other rooms can be heard (bring earplugs), and for me there was no water or toilet paper in the room. But otherwise for the price it is a great place to stay at.

Не хорошая администрация гостиницы : 1. По Китаю путешествуем с женой уже месяц и такого не было, чтобы проверяли визу , переспрашивали виза ли это ? 2. Мы приехали в 10.00 утра и оставили сумки , администратор гостиницы пол часа смотрела наши паспорта, сказала прийти после 14.00 , хотя никто нам за месяц не отказывал , если заселились и раньше 12.00 3. Мы пришли вечером , чтобы заселиться в эту гостиницу, снова пол часа времени были украдены администратором гостиницы, которая задавала глупые вопросы мне 46 лет , моя ли эта жена ? Вывод : администратор болеет головой ! Крутила и вертела все страницы в паспорте. 4. Не приятно было даже заселятся в такую гостиницу, кстати людей там и не видели. 5. Обычный номер, фото прилагаю. 6. Утром уехали от туда, не советую данную гостиницу с таким руководством.

We chose this place because there is only a couple of hostels in this area that takes non-Chinese visitors. The room is spacious and clean with a huge bed (it’s a hard mattress, not soft). Shower is a bit weak but enough for our cleaning need. A very short walk to the entrance which allowed us to view the sunrise. A huge menu to choose from for lunch and dinner - you can pre-order and let the host know when you want the food to be served. Free breakfast that was well-balanced and filling. Can drive you to Gubeikou Station to catch the train back to Beijing for a negotiable fee. Overall we had a great 2-night stay!
