Das Guesthouse ist strategisch ideal gelegen: In wenigen Minuten ist man mit dem Auto beim Vök Bad, wo wir abends wunderbar entspannen konnten. Die Zimmer sind relativ groß, sehr sauber und das Bett inklusive Kissen und Decke war ausgesprochen bequem – man schläft wirklich gut. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die große Gemeinschaftsküche. Sie ist modern ausgestattet und bietet mehrere Kochfelder, sodass alle Gäste problemlos gleichzeitig kochen können, ohne sich in die Quere zu kommen. In der Umgebung findet man alles, was man braucht: Ein großer Supermarkt und eine Tankstelle liegen nur etwa 700 Meter entfernt. Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Unterkunft mit praktischer Lage und guter Ausstattung.

Room is great. We had the whole house to ourselves. Check in was a bit confusing at first but was able to figure it out eventually. Nice place to stay in to experience a local housing. We had a nice view of the church just beside the house. We paid for breakfast. The spread was ok and the lady serving us was nice. Made us hot chocolate and espresso 😊

還是比較寬敞的，有獨立浴室，並且意外收穫是這個酒店離puffin老巢特別近，我們到的時候快晚上10點了，前台小哥特意等我們告訴我們哪裡能看puffin，特別強調晚上這個時間去能看到上千衹puffin，我們毫不猶豫去了，果然，一大堆，可好玩了

Hotel is at our stop-overnight location. Good spot for star glazing and watching Northern Lights. Bed is comfortable, very quiet at night. Dinner were good and breakfast is moderate. They allowed us to store our luggage as we arrive early which is very nice.

We stayed in Room 112 - a beautifully furnished apartment with ocean views and comfy beds. The apartment was very spacious and clean. There was a washer, but no dryer. 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel was provided. Shower screen was too small so a floor squeegee was provided to swipe water back into the bath area after shower. Breakfast spread and quality was excellent including some homemade cakes, breads and cookies. Location was just a 10min drive from the puffins. Our best stay in Iceland and highly recommended

房東是個可愛的太太，很熱情，問我明天要去哪兒線路怎麼走，生怕封路預警什麼的耽誤行程（但最後我還是闖了禁行去了普羅米修斯的教授機位，不過路況很危險，勸大家禁行時不要前往，否則無信號無救援），温泉入户，院子裏也可以泡，屋子裡也可以洗（輕微硫磺味）

Very helpful staff on a range of travel information, fantastic. The location beside the harbour beautiful and access to northern lights viewing with excellent staff guidance on where to try. GGuest UserBeachfront resort but I only got a skylight. Even the bathroom had a better view. The room had 2 beds but linens were removed for one since I was a solo traveler and only 1 towel was provided. No shoes policy helped keep the house clean. That is very good. I didn’t use the kitchen much except to make tea but seems like it is in good condition. Dishwashing liquid however was in a glass jar instead of pump. It’s strange cos you end up using too much for a small spoon and the jar is very slippery. Bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent! Hot food along with homemade breads. It was the best breakfast I had in my 2 weeks in Iceland. Location is an hour drive from Egilsstaðir via some mountain pass, gravel roads and along the coast road. The views are breathtaking. But it’s a small town and if you don’t intend to hike around the area then it might not be worth spending so much time getting to and fro your accommodation.

XXh_ChongBehind the blue church, there are cool loft beds, but the room is on the third floor and there is no elevator. The room space is OK, there is no wardrobe for hanging clothes, only a few hangers, and the mirror in the toilet is not very friendly to the short Asians (like me) Because it is off-season, the whole town is super quiet and there are not many choices for eating. In addition, the owner of this hotel has several buildings in this town, don't go wrong

BBanchaI had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Iceland! The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. One of the highlights was the breakfast – fresh, delicious, and with a good variety to choose from. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

LLonely_HikerThe Guesthouse is strategically ideally located: In a few minutes you will be on the Vök bath with the car, where we were wonderfully relaxed in the evening. The rooms are relatively large, very clean and the bed including kitchen and ceiling was very comfortable – you really sleep well. I would like to emphasise the great common kitchen. It is modernly equipped and offers several cooking fields so that all guests can cook without problems at the same time without coming in the cross. All you need is found in the surrounding area: a large supermarket and a tanker are only about 700 metres away. Overall a very pleasant accommodation with practical location and good equipment.
