One of our most enjoyable stay during our 12 days trip around Sicily. Upon landing at Catania airport, we drove all the way to Dimora Cottanera, arriving after dark. Stayed here for three nights and weren’t bored. Excellent ambience, great views, good amenities, nice and strong hot water, very comfortable beds, very good breakfast. The infinity pool was too cold in November, but we did enjoy the sauna and the outdoor bath. Credits to Serena who was really nice and helpful. She arranged our Mt Etna trip and wine tasting.

This place has a very high standart of service and high quality accomodation itself. After quite bad experience with another hostel in Palermo i moved to Casa di amici and was very surprised by finding such a high standard of service This place is new, fully equiped, very clean, perfectly organised and have a very interesting design ( with elements of ethnografic exhibition- trafitional music instruments and other artefacts). I was happy when I found that my room was really big, with high ceilings, perfect conditioner and -what is rare in hostels-each guest had its own bed. Other rooms (kitchen, common area, terrase, balcony) are also big, clean, perfectly organised in each detail. Bathrooms looked completely new, with perfect and ideally clean everything. Receptionists put a lot of efforts in providing very high quality service. They were very friendly, responsible and professional. Thank you very much and I must say the owner and staff did and do a great job.

Stayed here for 7-nights with my mum. The hotel is centrally based with easy access to everything. Walking distance to the cathedral and to the harbour where we found a lovely beach bar. So many restaurants within east walking distance serving Sicilian delights. All of the staff are amazing - very helpful, courteous and lovely. Giuseppe was particularly wonderful and extremely helpful. The rooms are basic, but you aren’t paying the price of a 5-star hotel - the beds are comfortable and the rooms are cleaned and replenished everyday. Everything you need for a base and a good nights sleep. The continental breakfast has a great choice and is very filling. The young waitress is attentive and polite. Perfect base for exploring the wonderful city of Palermo.

Siamo stati in coppia una notte ospiti di Giuseppe e Nicoletta con una prenotazione all'ultimo momento. I proprietari hanno saputo accoglierci in modo eccellente qualche ora prima che il check-in fosse disponibile. La camera è spaziosa, con finiture ricercate e ben ventilata contro il forte calore della zona. Il bagno ad uso privato è degno di un hotel a 5 stelle. Al mattino seguente ci è stata portata la colazione fresca di pasticceria, all'orario e con i prodotti concordati insieme il giorno dell'arrivo. Si trova a pochi passi dalla via principale della città e a pochissimi minuti di macchina dall'ingresso della famosa Valle dei Templi. Qui mi sono sentito da subito in famiglia e so già dove tornare per visitare la bellissima Agrigento in futuro. Consigliatissimo!

Hotel in posizione ottima, vicino alla stazione centrale e alle principali attrazioni di Palermo. Personale disponibile e caloroso. La camera era abbastanza grande e con bagno, mediamente grande, attrezzato per disabili (abbastanza bene) per cui non c'è bidet, ma doccino al water. Il letto era per me un po' basso con materasso di media durezza. Porta finestra che da su una strada molto trafficata e non adatta per chi ha sonno molto leggero perché con ospedale/polizia vicino si sentono tutte le sirene. Bella Tv e scrivania, no frigo bar. Mobile appoggia valigia molto comodo. Aria condizionata, riscaldamento in unico split. Colazione rapportata al prezzo pagato ma anche se confezionata di ottimo sapore. La domenica, c'è stata più scelta sia nel dolce che nel salato. Salato che altrimenti era su richiesta. Non ho avuto alcun problema con il wifi. E' solo parzialmente accessibile ai disabili in sedia a rotelle poiché lo scivolo, per superamento gradini di accesso ad ascensore, è molto ripida. Impossibile da salire autonomamente in sdia a rotelle e con fatica anche con aiuto, pure ascensore, essendo antico quindi con doppia porta manuale e piccolo è di difficile utilizzo e per sedia larga 60x90 cm. massimo. C'è stato il problema dell'acqua calda che è venuta abbastanza bene solo nel weekend, mentre i primi giorni, nonostante si sia provato a tirare l'acqua a lungo, con notevole spreco di questa, non si è riusciti a farla venire calda.
