GGuest UserTaking advantage of the May Day holiday, I spontaneously embarked on a trip without much planning, intending to decide things as I went along. My classmate's mother recommended this hotel. To find a 5-star guesthouse-level hotel at this price during May Day was truly exceptional value for money. The hotel environment is excellent; although some areas were undergoing renovation, it didn't detract from the overall guest experience. The front office manager was incredibly welcoming, asking about our travel plans and offering genuine advice, such as visiting Dazhao Temple in the evening and reminding us about the significant temperature difference between day and night, suggesting we dress warmly. On my second day, I had originally planned to go to Chilechuan and then the desert, but she advised me to visit the desert first and then Chilechuan if time permitted. I readily took her advice, and the trip turned out to be perfect. The hotel's breakfast was fantastic and highly recommended. I look forward to staying here again during the summer holidays!

GGuest UserThis resort feels like an oasis in the middle of the desert. Beautiful, spacious, impeccably clean, and every bit deserving of its 5-star reputation.
Our room was comfortable, spotless, and thankfully free from any cigarette smell. The laundry room was another pleasant surprise, equipped with new and well-maintained washers and dryers, with detergent provided for guests' convenience.
All meals are included and served in the dining hall, making the stay truly hassle-free. The food was consistently good, with hotpot available for dinner. Drinks, snacks, and refreshments were also available throughout the day. It would be difficult to leave this place without gaining a little weight! 😜
Given the size of the resort, guests may occasionally need to use the resort's transportation to get around. Fortunately, the waiting time was minimal, and we were able to travel between locations quickly and efficiently.
One minor drawback of the resort's impressive size is the walking distance to some rooms. The accommodation blocks are built in a circular layout, and our room happened to be located on the opposite side from the escalator landing. This meant walking past nearly 50 rooms every time we returned to our room. While this could be inconvenient, we did notice that the rooms closer to the escalator often had a noticeable cigarette smell in the corridor. By contrast, our section at the far end was completely free of smoke odours, which made the extra walk worthwhile. Whether these were designated non-smoking rooms, I'm not entirely sure.
What truly sets this resort apart is the range of activities and entertainment on offer. Guests can enjoy camel rides, ATV adventures, flying fox rides, guided stargazing walks, and nightly concerts and performances complete with spectacular fireworks displays. 🌌🐪🏍️🎆
For those looking for a Club Med-style, all-inclusive holiday with a unique desert setting, I would highly recommend this resort. It offers a memorable experience that combines comfort, adventure, entertainment, and excellent food in one remarkable destination.

Aaiai0101How do I even begin to describe this hotel? It's hard to put into words. You can't say the service is bad, because for any feedback, the staff will just smile and say, 'Okay, we'll pay attention next time.'
Before I came, I read reviews saying the hygiene wasn't good. My first night's room was okay, but to my surprise, when I checked in again on Thursday and Friday, the room was really dirty. The door felt sticky, and the luggage rack was greasy. I saw the hotel's replies to other guests saying they'd do a deep clean, and this is the result.
Their attitude is: 'Okay, we'll pay attention.' Their action: none.
Facilities: I paid 5-star prices for a budget hotel room.
Hygiene: The second stay's hygiene was not good at all.
Environment: Its only redeeming quality is the decent location.
Service: The concierge service was the best in the entire hotel—everything else was lacking.
Basically, if you come to Hohhot and there are no other comparable options, you're just stuck staying here.

GGuest UserAfter comparing several hotels, I chose Wanda Vista, and my experience far exceeded my expectations. Its cleanliness and service are outstanding. The housekeeping is incredibly meticulous: bed linens are changed daily, bathroom fixtures are polished to a shine, and there's no dust or clutter on the tabletops. Hallways and elevators are continuously cleaned, making the entire place feel fresh and comfortable. The staff are all genuinely warm and polite. They proactively guided me upon arrival, and check-in was swift. The concierge thoughtfully reminded me about the significant day-night temperature difference in the area, and when I returned to my room at night, there was warm water and a handwritten note prepared. These small details show incredible thoughtfulness. My overall experience was excellent. It's suitable for both travelers and long-term stays, offering great value for money and quality. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Hohhot.

From patiently assisting with check-in to meticulously arranging local food recommendations and sightseeing routes tailored to my preferences, nothing was overlooked. After a tiring day out, I returned to find my room tidied and a comforting herbal tea ready. Interacting with Molly, I could genuinely feel her passion and sincerity for her work. However, on the first morning, I was woken up at 9 am by the engineering department knocking on the door, and then again after 10 am when they delivered fruit and dairy products… Such a shame, especially since I'm lactose intolerant 😅😅 Well, thank you anyway, haha!

GGuest UserFirst impression of the hotel was good. We stayed at 25th floor, So that the room is bigger than others.
The reason we choose this hotel because It has a swimming pool. So, after checking in, I went to check the pool. I was shocked to see so many people there. It turned out there was a swimming lesson with 6 instructors and twenty something students. The lesson is running from 9am to 8.30pm. ( pool is closed at 9.30 and only 4 line.) I was very disappointed, therefore I called the duty manager and told him the issue. Soon after, the front seat manager Mr Li came to my room with apologetic attitude. Even though he couldn't resolved the issue, we felt that it was out of his hand. Food at fifth floor was so so. Breakfast has a lot of room to improve. If you want to relax in the pool. Don't go there. Otherwise it is a good choice to have a peaceful sleep.

Hhelly7531Finally got to check out the famous Matryoshka Doll Hotel, and my stay far exceeded expectations! The exterior is an iconic giant matryoshka doll building; its intricate paintings truly shine in the sun. The Guinness-certified unique architecture lives up to its reputation. Stepping into the lobby was breathtaking: a 60-meter high domed ceiling, crystal chandeliers, and palatial frescoes create a grand and dreamlike atmosphere. Matryoshka elements are everywhere – in the corridors, elevators, and guest rooms, with customized cups, amenity kits, and cushions, all adding a fairy-tale touch with meticulous detail. The room was spacious and clean, with excellent hygiene. The mattress was soft, and soundproofing was good, complemented by smart amenities. There's even a cute matryoshka robot that delivers meals and guides you, which the kids absolutely loved. The staff were warm and friendly, and check-in was efficient. The stay included unlimited access to the Matryoshka scenic area, which was super convenient, and the night view with the lights was absolutely stunning. Overall, it combines aesthetics, comfort, and a great location, making it perfect for family trips or couples. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Manzhouli!
