Hotel 5-Star di Pest, Hungary

Check-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended! PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.

Extremely satisfied! Not only is the hotel beautiful, but the service is also excellent. For a stay in Budapest, this hotel offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely book here again next time I visit, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. Right behind it is the commercial center Flosmarti Square, and just down from the square is Váci Street, which leads directly to the Central Market. The Parliament Building is only about a 20-minute walk away, so it's incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. The room features a great wet/dry separation, and the design is very well thought out, with a spacious shower. The hotel's room service is excellent; they even come in every afternoon to turn down the bed, tidy up, and close the curtains to create a perfect sleeping atmosphere. The front desk check-in was a bit frosty. Initially, when we arrived around 1 or 2 PM, they insisted check-in was strictly at 3 PM. However, after asking someone nearby, who might have been a manager, they said we could check in. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

It's decent. The front desk service was fine, though the hotel definitely isn't quite five-star. However, it's conveniently located and the breakfast was quite impressive. I'd recommend staying here. It's a good value-for-money option. The parking garage uses an elevator system, so be careful.

A wonderful hotel in the historic center. The room offered a magnificent view from the window. Everything you could possibly need was provided. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the housekeeping was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast; there were many delicious dishes and high-quality products. I especially loved the salmon. It was beyond all praise. This is a very respectable hotel, and everything was top-notch. The main advantage, of course, is its location. We felt like we were living in a fairy tale. Thank you so much. We highly recommend it to everyone.

The hotel is a wonderful experience to stay in particular if you appreciate historical flair. Definitively the spa and swimming pool is a great place to visit. It was included in our room category, but for other room rates may not include it and you need to pay for the spa and swimming pool. The personal was very kind and helpful! Breakfast was wonderful as well, however, the served coffee at the breakfast was terrible. It was not only on one day but seems to be a general feature. I wonder why this five star location does not invest in a high level coffee facility. But at least the room had a small pad coffee machine which allowed to have a good coffee! The general experience in this hotel was exceptional!

We arrived very late at the hotel but the arrival experience is superb. We book Matlid King room at room 105 , the room is very spacious and very advance IOT use in the room eg: electric curtain, lighting & air conditioners. The bathroom is very beautifully decorated with blue & gold tiles with big bathtub enough for 2 persons to soak together. Bathroom Experience: 10/10 They provide very comfortable bed, mattress, pillows and blanket. We had excellent 3 nights rest The hotel serve most delicious breakfast with lots of various options to choose from, I can say one of the best Breakfast for our this Europe trip. The staffs are very attentive and well-trained. breakfast Experience: 10/10 A must try dinner at Wolfgang Puck if you stay here, the chefs are super talented to create delicious art dinner. I enjoyed their Door to door cocktail as well.

On the day of my check-in, when I mentioned my desire for a Chain Bridge view room, the front desk staff at Hotel Clark Budapest - Adults Only kindly upgraded me to the last available one for free. The panoramic view of the Lion Bridge at sunset from the floor-to-ceiling window was absolutely stunning. Our local tour guide also commented on the hotel's excellent location; you can cross the street directly from the hotel's entrance to get onto the Lion Bridge, and it's also very close to Castle Hill. For breakfast, in addition to fruits, cold cuts, and bread, items like coffee, eggs, and waffles are made fresh from the menu. The room was equipped with an electric kettle, and complimentary items included a bottle of the hotel's own brand wine, a bottle of mineral water, and a bottle of sparkling water. The 'good night' chocolate on the bed was a nice touch too. The only minor drawback was the slightly small room size. If I ever visit again, I would definitely choose Hotel Clark Budapest - Adults Only!

The front desk staff were quite incompetent. Check-in took forever, and then my friend's room key didn't work. Another friend found a welcome card for someone else on their table upon entering their room. My room was a corner room, which they didn't even ask about, but they were very pushy about getting us to upgrade. We upgraded, and the service was still terrible. Then, at check-out, we thought it would be quick, but a young woman struggled for ages before calling over her colleague. We thought there might be an extra charge, but then she somehow pulled out someone else's room cards, claiming they didn't match ours. Couldn't she just ask us what our room number was? We gave her two room cards, and she somehow ended up with three! We were in a hurry to catch a flight and told them so, but she still fumbled around for ages. Plus, the kettle in the room was broken, and when we asked for a replacement, that one was also broken... It was an ordeal all afternoon; we couldn't even take an afternoon nap. I can only say the hotel is all show and no substance; the interior is rotten. Also, it seems like they sprayed a lot of disinfectant in the room when cleaning, and the windows don't open for ventilation...

Our original booking for a family suite was unavailable, and the hotel insisted that the standard room they gave us was the correct room type. This was completely inconsistent with the pictures from my stay in 2024 and the room type displayed on Ctrip. It wasn't until I showed them photos from my previous stay that they admitted the room type was incorrect. After negotiating with their supervisor, we paid an additional 200 euros per day to upgrade to a larger suite. Aside from the convenient access to New York Café, everything else was really subpar. You can compare pictures one and two with the room type images on Ctrip – consider this a warning!
