Hotel 4-Star di Uva Province, Sri Lanka

Check in took more than 40 minutes, rooms are massive and some good views. Air conditioning needs a repair for sure. Food was nice but restaurant staff were not that friendly. Breakfast buffet had some good variety. Hotel is okay for a one night stay, i doubt if its good for a longer holiday. Good thing is that kiri vehera temple is close by.

Our recent stay at Mandara Rosen Yala was a genuinely pleasant experience. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness was evident, and the staff were consistently helpful, making our visit thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast each morning provided a good start to the day, while the dinner buffet was particularly impressive, offering a fabulous spread that was a highlight of our evenings. The hotel's serene atmosphere allowed us to relax and recharge, which was much appreciated after exploring the local area. We felt welcomed and valued as guests throughout our stay, thanks to the attentive service. If our travels bring us back to Kataragama, Mandara Rosen Yala will certainly be our hotel of choice once more. It's an establishment that promises comfort and excellent dining experiences.

Great location about 10 min walking from the train station, good staff and the place is clean and tidy. Looks like kind of a chain and that was what I wanted. The room is really small tho and there was no TV. But at least it’s very comfortable and you feel safe. As a solo women traveling I would recommend this place

Honestly, if I hadn't found this hotel, I might have given up on Ella. There are so many ugly little guesthouses in Ella that I really didn't want to stay in. Turns out, I made the right choice! The hotel has excellent aesthetics; although it's not large, every detail is exquisite. The balcony is absolutely stunning! It perfectly matches the secluded scenery I had imagined! The pool is especially beautiful, and there are even net hammocks to lounge in! The hotel isn't accessible by car, so you'll need to transfer to a tuk-tuk. Just contact the hotel in advance.

This was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. From the amazing luxury tent dinners under the stars to drinks in the lobby we were certainly taken care of. Our guide and driver were amazing and tracked both a sloth bear (pretty big animal!) and a leopard for us to see on the amazing safari. Although pricey it was worth it! I would recommend to all and we would come again. Best safari experience in Sri Lanka!

What's the most important thing in traveling? It is of course a high-quality accommodation for the hotel control. The EKHO hotel is on the edge of Eller town, not far from the main street, making it easy to travel. The characteristics of a good hotel are: clean, quiet, comfortable and modern, rich breakfast, and warm staff. Seems very ordinary ... However, isn't it very unusual to encounter a hotel without regret during the trip. ok, for the fun of travel, recommend it!

Absolutely unbelievable stay here as a family of 6. We had two king beehives and have not had a stay like it in Sri Lanka. The attention to detail, the food, the service from staff, everything was amazing. We absolutely loved it here and it was worth every penny. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Very centrally located hotel with a great rooftop pool. The staff were extremely friendly. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is worth staying for the stunning mountain views alone. Otherwise, the rooms are a bit dirty, especially the bathroom, with lots of dead insects on the curtains. The bathroom lacks even basic amenities (soap dish, glass for toothbrushes, etc.). There were mosquitoes in the room upon check-in. The staff didn't seem particularly concerned.
