Hotel 4-Star di Central Visayas, Philippines

Not the first time staying here, and will go back again. Location is perfect, all the necessities can be found within a walking distance. Amenities: All the important amenities are available except for hand towels and you have to beg for towels and pretty much the replenishment of amenities after the room is cleaned, far different from the last time when it was still Belmont. First room we were given had a very mouldy smell and which gave the kids and I instant headaches. They eventually changed it after about 4 hours of waiting and intervention by Trip.com. This really put a damper on things. Breakfast: Great, the variety is good, but it’s the same pretty much everyday. The beach: Within 5 minutes walk, but don’t you dare lose of misplace the beach pass paper tag, they’re very uptight about it. The beach if not the best beach, very rocky which makes swimming pretty uncomfortable. However, the pool area is awesome and there are sun loungers all around and that makes up for the unpleasant beach. They provide swimming towels too! I must say it has developed a lot since the last time I was here and I can only hope they will keep improving.

Spent 3D and 2N at Bohol Beach Club Deluxe Green room, and we had a very relaxing, quiet and enjoyable beach vacation. The resort is family-friendly, not too crowded unlike the ones in Alona beach. The entire property is big with nice garden and shoreline. The resort’s cleanliness truly stood out. The staff was another highlight. From the front desk, restaurant staff, housekeeping to the lifeguards, was incredibly courteous and polite. Food is okay. I like the BBC burger and pizza. Airport transfers are also available at a cheaper price than the ones at the airport. They charge 550 pesos per way versus a flat rate of 700. Glad they were able to pick us up in just few minutes after I called them when we just landed at the airport! As for the beach, it was simply stunning. The sand was soft and powdery white almost same as the ones in Boracay. Overall, Bohol Beach Club provided the perfect balance of relaxation and fun. If you’re looking for a family-friendly beach destination, this resort should definitely be at the top of your list!

Однако не обошлось и без недостатков: - Очень душно и влажно в номере, в душе швы плитки не моют. - Не работала стиральная машина, а я заселилась на одну ночь чтобы как раз можно было постирать вещи. - Балкон не открывался вообще, как бы я ни пыталась открыть дверь, да и балкон был на первом этаже прямо у людей, кто плескался в бассейне. - Гель для душа и шампунь не индивидуальный набор, а просто две бутылки, которыми пользуются все, так что фиг знает кто там что может подмешать в бутылки из гостей. - ремонт откровенно некачественный, рейки держатся на скотче, местами отваливается краска в ванной от влажности, кривая покраска стен. В ванной небольшая вентиляция (без вытяжки-вентилятора), выходящая в коридор, через которую слышно любые шаги и разговоры и все что происходит в ванной соответственно тоже. - кондиционер направлен прямо на кровать, что неудобно, можно простудиться, а не включать его не вариант, так как очень жарко и душно. - ужасный сильнопахнущий ароматизатор в номере, от которого голова начинает болеть. - холодильник гремит так, словно перфоратором что-то долбят, невозможно просто с таким шумом спать. В целом 2-3 ночи провести можно, удобное расположение от аэропорта, на такси можно доехать за 160 песо.

Cleanliness: super dirty kettle (see photo), found 2 millipedes in the room, lots of brown dark stains on the ceiling. Location: 2-3 mins away from the airport Service: too slow, we asked for extra pillow when we checked-in at 3 pm. we needed to follow up twice and finally got the pillow around 8 pm. same with the dirty kettle, we needed to ollow up before they gave us the replacement. Amenities: nice pool

The place is nice and comfortable. The room is well-lit and well-ventilated, which made the stay very pleasant. I would also like to commend Haidie from the information desk for being very approachable and for assisting me with a request that was beyond her usual duties. As a suggestion for improvement, it would be great if the rooms could include a clothes iron or steamer, as well as hair conditioner for guests.

I have been using Costabella for nearly 20 years and have always considered it a pleasant, well maintained hotel. In fact I even got married here! However, during my most recent stay, the experience fell noticeably short of expectations. We booked a poolside room and, after check in, I was genuinely surprised to find that the room was on the third floor. Based on my many previous stays, I had always understood poolside rooms to be those adjacent to the pool at ground level. If you are booking a poolside room, be aware that this may not be the case and expectations should be managed accordingly. The room itself was a little dated in style, but it was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Housekeeping was consistent throughout the stay, which helped offset the older décor. The pool area is relatively small but generally well maintained. Unfortunately, it was extremely crowded throughout the day due to the large number of day pass visitors. As a result, there were no chairs or loungers available for hotel guests for most of the day, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the beach area was clean and pleasant. The food was the main let down. The buffet breakfast would rate no more than 4 out of 10. Much of the food had not been replenished, including empty juice and coffee stations, and what remained was cold and unappetising. However, it was better on the second day. Dinner was equally disappointing. Several main courses were served cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen twice. In the end, we cancelled two seafood dishes altogether, as reheating raised concerns about food quality and safety. The steak, which was once a highlight of Costabella for me, was extremely tough and far below the standard I have previously enjoyed. Overall, Costabella still has many positive qualities, but this stay did not reflect the standards I have previously associated with the resort and this will be my last visit. Unless the quality of the food and the management of guest capacity improve, I would find it difficult to recommend Costabella based on this recent experience.

The resort has a lot to offer — it has a condominium, beach, swimming pools, event space, restaurants and a bar. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The pools and the beach side are well-maintained. They also offer a free bike and kayak ride whenever you stay at the resort. They also serve complimentary drinks once you arrive.

The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful. Good training in hospitality. The rooms are clean. The location is great since it is in the center of the City. One thing that really bothers me and my wife is the noise outside the room. You can hear beds being moved around from the 13th floor and also from the rooms at side. The windows is does not block noises from the outside so there were timea it is really difficutlt to sleep. But overall, i will still give the hotel 4/5.

Conveniently located close enough to Alona beach to easily access all the restaurants, beaches, shops etc by scooter or tuktuk but also far away enough to not constantly be bothered by loud motors, tons of roosters and all that other noise. Rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with safe, fridge, hair dryer and plenty of racks and hooks to hang and dry your clothes. There's also an outdoor gym area and the pool is big and good for swimming. Plus the wifi is very stable and great for working remotely. Service is friendly and helpful, the restaurant is good too. Can recommend the hotel

The location of the hotel is right along the highway which is very nice. The staff are really excellent especially the guards who assisted us when we parked our vehicle . The only cons there is the underground parking lot and and the exit which is only good for small cars. The food is great, the pool is fantastic.
