The hotel is mostly fine. The only problem is that the air conditioning pretended to be working but was actually in repair, so I didn’t sleep well from the heat. If the reception had informed me of this repair, I would have at least opened the window to let in the cool breeze in local May (I didn’t for fear of street and airplane noise. The deco is rather old-fashioned for a hotel that opened in 2021, with no smart features and some clear signs of wear and tear. The price is not too bad but is still 50% more than a much nicer and “smarter” hotel I stayed near the Chengdu Tianfu Airport. Breakfast buffet has a small but good collection. The millet congee and the tofu sheet salad are not bad! I may or may not come back, but I do hope the staff will keep people more informed of issues.

This is a very good hotel with a convenient location near the subway station and the Grand Market. The hotel is reasonably priced, well-maintained, and provides excellent service. The rooms are clean and beautiful.
I had an amazing experience here. Upon arrival, I even received a complimentary room upgrade, which was such a wonderful surprise. The hotel is brand new, and everything feels fresh and well maintained.
The owner is incredibly helpful and goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. He’s always ready to answer questions or give advice.
He also runs his own travel agency, and through him, I visited Tashkurgan — definitely a trip worth taking and a highlight of my journey.
In short: an excellent stay with outstanding service. Highly recommended!

hotel is very well designed with local authentic style, very convenient to get in because it is close to the south gate of ancient town. The receptionist is very helpful, very friendly, the first day when we arrived the hotel sent receptionist to the gate to help us carry our luggages and took us inside. This is the ancient town so you need to get luggages checked through security scanning machine. The ancient town is very beautiful and it is a must visit when you come to South Xinjiang. In general we feel very comfortable and convenient to stay in this home stay. First night as the hotel was full so we had to stay in a small room, but when we came back after several days they provided us a big room, I can feel their care to the guests and tried to serve at their best
Actually this is the perfect choice for a hotel in visiting turpan. The reason that I took a half star off on the rating is related to the unreliable support from the Young man from the front desk. On arrival at check in, I asked for information on public transportation to flamingo mountain, he claimed that there is no public bus and you must hire a car service to flaming mountain, even if you call DIDI to get there and you will not be able to call a Didi to come back. Before booking the hotel, I knew that the turpan north station has public buses to the major attractions. The city of turpan has done a wonderful job to promote the Uyghur culture. The hotel is in an excellent location right across from the train station,, breakfast buffet is good, room size is adequate, new. Recommend . I will be back.
HHMW8888I know the hotel probably doesn't care about reviews anymore, but their unprofessionalism was evident right from the airport pickup. It wasn't even the front desk that answered the phone when I tried to contact the hotel! Luckily, there was a pickup service at 12, which is why I'm giving a mediocre review. But if there's no pickup service at 12, why is it listed as available? The bed was a bit dirty, and the towels were old. It's 2026 now, and when my delivery arrived, it was just left in a corner downstairs, no call, no delivery robot. The security guards have a very 'politicized' vibe; I suggest giving them permanent government positions, so their attitude isn't wasted.
JJill CassandraA Hidden Gem That Feels Like Coming Home
Tucked away in the embrace of raw, untouched nature, MuseNomad Retreat is the kind of place that feels almost too beautiful to be real — like stepping into a postcard. Yet behind the picture-perfect setting is something even more special: the kind of warmth and care that turns a stay into a memory.
From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. The owners go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels at ease. One gesture I’ll never forget — I was rushing for a tour and hadn’t managed to press my clothes. Though there’s a laundry room available, the owner personally helped me iron them, refusing any payment. That small act of kindness stayed with me.
We’ve stayed in many retreats claiming to offer luxury, but this place redefines what true luxury means. Here, you pay a 3-star rate and receive a 5-star experience in comfort, sincerity, and service. The rooms are cleaned daily with meticulous attention to detail — we were even touched to find our own tea and coffee sachets neatly arranged by housekeeping.
Meals were another highlight. The food has that unmistakable home-cooked feel — warm, nourishing, made with care. When they learned I don’t eat beef or mutton, the kitchen prepared special dishes just for me, without a fuss. That kind of consideration is rare and deeply appreciated.
And how could I forget Tian Tian — the gentle, lovable golden retriever who quietly added to the homey atmosphere. Her presence made the stay even more special, like having a sweet companion always nearby.
MuseNomad Retreat isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place to truly rest. Of all the accommodations we’ve experienced across our travels, this one touched us the most. As our three nights came to a close, I felt a genuine sadness — a quiet wish that we could stay just a little longer.
If you’re looking for a restful, heartfelt escape where nature, comfort, and kindness meet, this is the place. MuseNomad Retreat is not just somewhere we stayed — it’s somewhere we’ll remember fondly, and miss dearly.
WWangdakeceruleansun2Let me talk about the advantages first:
1. The location is great, not far from the entrance to West City. You can get there in three to five minutes by taxi 🚗, which is very convenient for tourists with suitcases. There are also many restaurants nearby.
2. The decoration is unique. Only after visiting Xiangfei Garden did I realize that the two magnificent walls at the entrance of the homestay where tourists check in are Uyghur brick carvings. It is not to be missed for travel photography.
3. The travel photography shop Kashixunji, which I randomly selected at the door, has a high cost-effectiveness. A package costs 399, and there are pictures and the truth. The boss is nice, and after the photo shoot, you can continue to wear the costumes to walk around the ancient city and take photos by yourself. It is very comfortable.
Let's talk about the disadvantages: the sound insulation is indeed a bit poor, if there is loud noise, it will affect your rest. But after I talked to the administrator, she did help with the communication, which was good.
LLeo27Very friendly and helpful staffs withou English speaking. I got complimentary very early check-in. The breakfast was perfect at the nearby anteen restaurant with 15 yuans capped. My room and bed are super comfortable, iron provided. The hotel was at the end of K2 bus line from Tulufanbei railway station. The location was great in the center, can connect to several attractions by buses or taxi. Walkable distance to Turpan Museum to see the mummies.
XXiaoxiamiaFor my kids' spring break, we visited Tashkurgan and I'm so glad we chose the Qogir Hotel. Upon arrival, three charming Tajik young men warmly escorted us to our room and even refilled the oxygen bags we needed. The hotel has oxygen concentrators, is spotlessly clean and tidy, and the breakfast is incredibly generous. Even though it's a small county, the breakfast had a delightful European flair. My kids were tired of Chinese food, so they absolutely loved the burgers, pizza, and mushroom soup available in the evening. On top of that, there were evening activities like stargazing or a tour of the Pamir House, and early morning excursions to photograph the 'Golden Mountains at Sunrise'. Highly recommended!
AAnonymous UserThis hotel not only offers a comfortable stay, but also creates unforgettable travel memories, making you look forward to your next visit the moment you leave. The environment is excellent.
DDDMDOverall, quite a decent stay. You really can’t beat the location. It’s just a stone’s throw away from the main entrance to this side of old city. The balcony overlooks the main street and I loved sitting there and taking in the sounds and smells. The building itself is a bit older and it shows. The table in my room was a bit dirty and aged, and there was an ashtray which suggests smoking can be allowed in the room for prior guests, but thankfully there was no cigarette smell in my room. Unfortunately, there were a few setbacks. The bathroom shower did not drain well and after 5 minutes water would start flooding out of the shower room to the hallway. There are two washers in a lower room but they were both occupied with sheets that were just sitting there and had not been put through the wash cycle yet. It seemed like the hotel uses these as their main washer for their linens. When I was checking in, the front desk person seemed confused if I had a reservation but that’s about as much as I could figure out with the language barrier. My trip.com reservation said I have a late checkout of 4pm but they came to my room around 2:45pm and said I was supposed to check out at 2pm. Thankfully I had everything packed up and said I could leave at 3pm. No one came to my room to clean so my trashcan was full. You can hear everything on the street which wasn’t a big problem to me, sort of white noise drowned out by the second day. However, the second day there was a new group of tourists that arrived and spent a lot of time on the balcony (as they should) but their noise was very audible and quite annoying. You could also easily hear people going up and down the stairs and in adjacent rooms.
AAngela serm I have stayed in folk houses and hotels. Friends who come from outside recommend this hotel which is close to the airport. In addition to free airport pick-up and drop-off, it also provides breakfast and is close to Green City (where there is a food court, clean and quiet, better than Khan Bazar). A fare to the ancient city is no more than 20 yuan. The hotel is clean, tidy and comfortable. It is a good place to stay for a stroll during the day and to rest in peace. Thank you very much! I like it very much. Next time I come to Kashgar, I will choose this hotel for the whole trip!
GGuest UserThe hotel is new and clean, with a separate wet and dry area. For Hemu, it's probably quite good value for money. The only downsides were the very weak water pressure for showering and the very simple breakfast. Hemu itself is a strange place; there's not much to do, yet it's so crowded and expensive – I don't quite understand why.

MM238919****The amenities in the hotel were of good quality; the tissues were from Qingfeng, and the comforter and mattress were very comfortable. I would stay at this guesthouse again next time, but I don't want to be assigned to a room at the end of the corridor again. Apart from that, I was very satisfied.
