Hotel 3-Star di Perak, Malaysia

Voyage Retreat Pangkor is a truly charming island escape and easily one of my favourite stays in Pangkor. From the beautifully designed rooms to the peaceful surroundings and refreshing sea breeze, everything feels thoughtfully curated for a relaxing getaway. I especially enjoyed the warm hospitality, personalised service and tranquil atmosphere throughout my stay. The sunrise views and breakfast by the sea added an extra touch of magic to the experience. It feels private, elegant and effortlessly comfortable without being overly commercial. A beautiful hidden gem for anyone who appreciates nature, refined simplicity and genuine island hospitality. Highly recommended for a memorable Pangkor escape.

The location is quiet and safe, not too far from the city center and tourist attractions. There's a food court just 2 minutes away with many breakfast options. It would be even better if there was a washing machine 😁. This place is suitable for backpacker groups as the rooms are spacious and the beds are large. It's also great for family tours.

I booked a deluxe twin room and was assigned to the 9th floor. I was able to check in as early as 1 PM upon arrival. Given the super convenient location for exploring and dining, the conditions across the board were quite acceptable. I didn't encounter the cleanliness and power outlet issues mentioned in many reviews—perhaps the rooms on the higher floors have been recently renovated. The view from the 12th-floor restaurant is simply stunning; the ambiance definitely outweighs the food.

The place is very clean, peaceful, and relaxing, making it a perfect getaway to unwind. The rooms and facilities were well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. The food was delicious, with a good variety of choices. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I truly enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation

Location is good - walking distance to popular food places. However, there is a confusion for grab pick up point. The grab will wait at the main road instead of the apartment lobby. The place is clean but rather old. Needs some maintenance. only bath towels given - no floor or hand towels. Digital TV - so can watch youtube and Netflix.

Hotel Regal Vista offers a comfortable stay with a welcoming atmosphere, convenient location and the essentials for a relaxing trip. It is a practical choice for travellers who want to explore the surrounding city while having a pleasant place to rest. After a day of sightseeing, shopping and enjoying local food, returning to a comfortable room makes the experience even more enjoyable and memorable.

Perhaps it's been a while, as some of the in-room facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is still very good.

Had a lovely stay! The location is great, with two restaurants just downstairs, making it convenient to grab a meal. Other places and attractions are also just a short drive away, so getting around was easy. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip!

For the price, I think it is a reasonable option.  However objectively: 1. The air-cons don't work well - one of them was leaking.  The staff was helpful in sending contractor to fix while we were out but due to miscommunication (because we have connecting rooms) the ”fix” was made to the air-con that wasn't leaking as badly as the one we complained about.  To be fair they offered to swap rooms but we are a family of 5 and it was a hassle to repack and move so we declined.  2. The hot water was very good despite some reviews.  However the shower head in one of the rooms were such that they don't stay put so occasional splashes happened.  3. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned (we have connecting room) - the ”make my room” card wasn't available in one of the room so we hung on just 1 of the room and left the connecting door open, thinking that the cleaners would clean both.  They only cleaned 1.  I guess we could have outright told reception instead of assuming that the cleaners will clean both rooms since we left the connecting door open.  4. I paid for extra bed - but the bedsheet was dusty - they changed it (or at least vacuumed it) after the first night.  5. The beds were quite comfortable, they offered free bottled water and coffee sachets, tv worked, fridges worked, rooms were decent sized, wifi was ok - ample street parking, the lights were ok but one of the rooms had stark white lights instead of the warmer ones. Location was good, just off the highway and across the eateries in Bercham.  6. The staff were helpful and friendly.  Despite the complaints they texted me and constantly called to check if we needed towels (because one of the room weren't cleaned) and they asked twice if we wanted to change rooms (we didn't because of reason stated above).  7. Suggestion - build a small ramp to go up to the hotel from the road if possible.  It will be helpful for luggage and older folks / wheelchairs etc.  All in all, it was a decent stay.  Price was competitive but cleanliness could be better - and air-con/shower heads can be better maintained.

Worth the price you pay! Great location, just beside the highway. Everything is clean, aircond was functioning well, the room is nice. It’s just that the small fridge is not functioning and the water pressure is kinda slow. But I don’t really mind. The front desk was also nice. I will reconsider staying at this hotel again for a short staycation.
