Hotel 2-Star di Ontario, Canada

This was my second stay. I was particularly impressed by the coffee machine in the lobby and the simple breakfast offered daily. The complimentary airport shuttle also made my overall travel arrangements very convenient. The rooms were clean, and the staff were very friendly. If you're comfortable using the local public transport, you'll find a bus stop within a 3 to 5-minute walk. I forgot to take photos during this second visit, but I easily used the bus to get to Mississauga city center and even Toronto's Union Station, which was incredibly convenient.

I booked this hotel with trips.com, when I tried to check in they said there’s no reservation for me even though I showed them the confirmation number, they said trips.com didn’t send the confirmation to them, and I need to contact them myself. I asked them to borrow the phone so I can call because my phone is prepaid, and they said their phone doesn’t work to call outside, believe it or not, and they couldn’t help at all, so I contacted trips.com through live chat, the rep was so helpful, she contacted the hotel directly and was able to sort out the issue, then the guy from the hotel said he gone above and beyond to help me and he’s not supposed to. I found that’s funny because he didn’t help me at all from the beginning until trips contacted them. So I told him I was not satisfied with how he handled the problem initially, then he apologized, but not sincere you can tell by his tone of voice. In terms of the hotel, it only has 2 floors, the 1st floor is kind of in the basement, the carpet is very old, but the room is clean. The heater wasn’t turned on, the room was cold when we arrived. The heating system and the washroom fan were very loud, so we have to turn off the heat in order for us to be able to sleep.

Wonderful stay. Everything was good and reception was perfect. I suggest and use next time too

The room is quite big, quiet, and I had a good rest. Although the breakfast is simple, I am full. It is very cost-effective. There is a scenic blue line bus at the door, which is also very convenient to go to the waterfall and the station

Arrived late at night, check-in was quick and easy, the room was clean, and got everything we needed. Kids love the swimming pool. Breakfast was good, staffs are very nice and helpful. A/C was loud, but our kids were able to sleep through it, so it was not a big issue. Overall, a friendly, simple accommodation , we were happy with our stay.

The location is really good, like it’s only 10 minutes walk from the Niagara Falls, the staff is friendly and nice.overall everything is good except one things: only the mirror in the toilet have light, so it’s so dark and just make u dun wana shower ＞.＜

Everything is good except location. It locates some 4 km from downtown. But you have everything within walking distance , supermarket, dollarama, numbers of restaurant etc. The best thing is the hotel provides free self serviced laundry but you have prepared your own detergent .

The hotel room is old anf has smell. A 2-star hotel acceptable clean but not really clean. The room has awful smell and very old. There are couple of flies flying around when we checked in. The bathroom does not have ventilator at all so all the smell just stay inside your room. There is no fly screen at the balcony/patio door so cannot open it for air circulating as afraid mosquitos and flies would enter the room. Not central air system. Just 1 unti AC so pretty noisy.

I got bed bugs bite after the stay. It’s unfortunate but I feel like during my business travels, unless I am booking premium higher end hotels where it is at least $130-$150+ per night, there is about 20-30% chance that I wake up with bites.. i can never see them and everything always appears ok but you find out after the fact, a day or two later. My biggest question to hotels are do you guys wash ALL bed sheets, fitted sheets, pillow cases, blankets, covers etc after every single stay? I can probably bet my next paycheque that I wouldnt be surprised if that’s not the case with most lower end hotels and it’s quite alarming…

Good value for money, good location to Ishawa and Toronto, breakfast OK (unfortunately only hard-boiled eggs, no bread at 9.45, no decaf coffee)
