Hotel 2-Star di Sarawak, Malaysia

I read a lot of bad reviews, but when I stayed there myself it was not as bad as I imagined. The room was ok, but the sheets and towels were a little dirty. The shower water was strong enough, and the staff service was pretty good.

Great location, convenient for getting anywhere. Plenty of food options downstairs. The self check-in process was clear, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The water pressure was excellent, making for a very comfortable shower. If I had to nitpick, the room size was a bit small, but it's not a huge issue for an overnight stay. Definitely recommend.

Staffs are very friendly but the facilities at hotel need maintenance. Only 1 out of 3 plugs can be used, only cold shower available after a long day and the solution is technician only available after 8am next day, the bed n aircon has a terrible smell which makes us hard to fall asleep…

The location is very strategic, close to the airport. There are restaurants, a pharmacy, and other facilities located under the hotel. As for cleanliness, it was moderate because the room was dusty, there was hair, and there were stains on the pillow and bedsheets.

During my recent stay at Maxi Hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the combination of luxury and comfort it provided. The on-site restaurant also provided an excellent dining experience, with a menu that featured both local and international cuisine. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's location. Situated in the heart of the city, it provided easy access to major attractions, shopping districts, and dining options. Despite being in a bustling area, the room was quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep. Overall, Maxi Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, it offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and luxury. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the city.

I liked the room arrangement and overall comfort of the stay. However, there was still a noticeable smoke odour in the room, likely from previous occupants. Improving the air quality and maintaining a smoke-free environment would greatly enhance the guest experience. This time, I was fortunate to find parking near the hotel. It would be even better if dedicated parking spaces could be provided or arranged for hotel guests. Overall, it was a good stay, and I enjoyed my experience.

This big a hotel, always fully booked, and yet they don't have extra pillows? I even offered to pay, but the receptionist at the front said, 'We're fully booked, so we don't have any extra.' And the pillows are as thin as the standard ones you've had at home for 10 years. I wanted to pay, but they just didn't have any. But then in the room, there's a price list for items like towels, pillows, etc. Seriously, no extra pillows? What if a kid throws up that night, or the pillow gets dirty? There'd be no replacement? I can't even fathom it. Everything else was fine.

The place is very strategic in the town area. You can just walk to Oriental Cafe to eat and to the other cafe will take about 10-20 mins walk. The night view from the room is pretty too. Will come back soon.

Hotel was fine. Good stay in Kuching close to the waterfront. We had some stains on the sheets but we guess they were old. Changed our sheets after we gave notice. Overall a good stay
