Hotel 2-Star di Selangor, Malaysia

The hotel was good, everything was ok with the room. The bathroom was very musty, and the drain was always dripping. Only one bottle of filtered water per room which you have to constantly go down to reception to swap over The location was convenient next to the MRT station and local restaurants.

Is my family go to hotel when we are in subang. The room was quite spacious, and i can see they did reno for toilet. Just maybe cause its old hotel u can see some wear n tear. But for the price its okay i guess

I just ove this hotel! The cleanliness, the ambience, the lobby were cosy and calming. For economic rate, The bedroom is spacious enough, lying in nice bed with side table and powerpoint feels like home. Surprisingly, they also have desk with ergonomic chair. Wifi, smart tv were good and updated. The best part i love here most is the bathroom with good hot shower!! It’s 10/10.

Stayed at Batu Caves Hotel recently and had a generally pleasant experience. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It is very close to Batu Caves, making it extremely convenient for visitors who want to explore the area, especially early in the morning before it gets crowded. There are also restaurants, convenience stores, and public transport options within walking distance. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the staff were polite and helpful. The service is simple but sufficient for a comfortable stay. The room was modest in size and equipped with basic amenities such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and toiletries. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and the internet connection was stable, which was useful for planning daily activities. Cleanliness was acceptable overall. The room was tidy, though some areas showed signs of wear and could benefit from better maintenance. This did not significantly affect the stay but may be noticeable for guests who are particular about cleanliness. Despite being located near a tourist area, the hotel was relatively quiet at night, allowing for a good night's rest. Overall, Batu Caves Hotel offers good value for money and is suitable for budget travelers, short-stay guests, and anyone who prioritizes location and affordability over luxury. I would recommend it to travelers looking for a practical and conveniently located place to stay.

I had a disappointing first stay here. I arrived early and was asked to pay extra for early check in, which I refused, but I agreed to wait. The staff then allowed me to check in early without clearly explaining that my room access would end at 7pm. Later that evening, my room was locked, which caused a lot of inconvenience and confusion. The room itself was very basic and felt old. There were noises from rats/mice at night, the towels and bedsheets looked worn, and the TV only had a few channels. Parking is also not free. On the positive side, Hotel 99 SS2 Petaling Jaya is located in a very central area with many shops, restaurants, and a night market nearby. The staff were generally Ok, but overall the experience lacked professionalism. Suitable only if you need a cheap place to stay for one night and don’t expect much.

As you can see the mosaic already cracked before we get enter the room. This is the safety issues concern.And another issues is i book for standard twin bed, and requested has window. But i got the queen bed and didnt have windows.

Lift was out of order, so we were kindly given 1st floor king bedroom with window, can see front of hotel road & parking areas, drinking water dispenser on ground floor only next to reception, shower very high water pressure which we like, double pillows each which we like also, smart TV with YouTube, Netflix, etc, which we like very much, aircon cold & comfortable, few more doors away is corner kopitiam with nice char siew wantan mee & curry mee for breakfast & lunch, behind hotel is Atria Mall with the usual mall stuff & food, few doors away from hotel is MPPJ food court std Chinese, Indian & Malay food, behind Mall is small park to jog & relax which we did & enjoyed, also got KK Mart if you want groceries, morning time hot nasi lemak berlauk food truck, parking is the only challenge we faced during working hrs, trick is to be patient & wait along the street few doors before hotel & then someone will leave (esp those in front of hotel who come for dobi next door) but don't park in middle of street kena saman, proper parking just pay with TnG app select SS22 area

The cleanliness is perfect. There's coffee. The soundproofing isn't great, though. I guess it depends on who your neighbors are. If they're just sleeping, then it's fine. But!!! The clock in the room was a real problem; I couldn't sleep at all because it ticked so loudly. Plus, it was running fast. Nearby, there's delicious and affordable food. (Laksa for only 12 RM and really tasty ice cream next door for 2 RM). I took a taxi here at 4 PM for 17 RM (Grab) and at 4 AM for 29 RM (inDrive).

I had a pleasant stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of eateries around the area. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

I stayed 2 times in Mixx Hotel. There are 2 type of room, the new part of the hotel which has more amenities, netflix & youtube tv selection, water kettle, bigger bathroom and bigger room. Where there’s also an older type of room with smaller room, smaller bathroom, only channel selection television, no water kettle, but there’s a small fridge inside. However the older type of room has some mold parts on the ceiling which is kinda humid, and not as clean as the new type of room. The photo that I uploaded is the newer type of room.
