Hotel 2-Star di Samarkand Region, Uzbekistan

From the moment we walked in we knew we made a good decision. The owner (or manager) made us feel at home, and we felt welcome. This is a wonderful hotel, a budget rate for a good mid-range. The rooms are good size and comfortable, and very aesthetic, with a lot of thought put in. In fact, the whole hotel, especially the kitchen and eating area, is a small museum, with some really interesting items. The location can't be better, 15-20 minutes from both the Registan and the bazaar. The neighborhood (the old Jewish area) is quiet, with a decent grocery store nearby. All in all a very good opinion, which we highly recommend.

From the moment I arrived, the host made me feel completely at home — super kind, always smiling, and genuinely helpful with tips about where to go and how to get around. It didn’t feel like just checking into a hostel, more like being welcomed into someone’s home. The breakfast every morning was such a treat. Fresh, tasty, and prepared with care — the kind of breakfast that actually makes you look forward to waking up early. It gave me the perfect energy to start exploring the city. The location couldn’t have been better. It’s right in a very convenient spot, close enough to walk to the main sights but still in a peaceful area where you can relax after a busy day. I loved being able to step out and reach Samarkand’s incredible landmarks so easily. Overall, Old Radio Hostel has such a cozy, warm vibe. Between the amazing host, the delicious food, and the perfect location, it really felt like a home away from home. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable and authentic stay in Samarkand — I’d definitely stay here again!

Excellent location, generous service, and authentic charm near Registan. We stayed at Shahram Plus SH for one night, with a short extension, and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent. It is in a quiet local neighborhood, just a short walking distance from Registan Square, the mausoleums, and the nearby bazaar. It feels peaceful and authentic while still being very convenient for sightseeing. The courtyard is beautiful and traditional, with a charming and authentic design that reflects the local culture. Our room was very large and spacious, easily accommodating three guests. It was beautifully decorated, well heated, and also equipped with air conditioning. There were plenty of outlets for charging devices, which is always appreciated while traveling. The bathroom was spacious and included a large bathtub and a western-style toilet. Free drinking water is available in the basement kitchen area, though guests need to bring their own bottles or cups. One thing we especially appreciated was the generosity of the staff. We explained that we had booked a night train departing after midnight and asked if a later check-out would be possible. They kindly offered us a much later check-out so we could relax and freshen up before heading to the station. We truly appreciated this flexibility. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly throughout our stay and treated us like part of their family. Breakfast was also very good. The dishes were local, freshly made, filling, and delicious. A couple small notes for future guests: the toilet paper may not meet Western European standards, so you may wish to be prepared. Also, the beds are quite firm. If you are a side sleeper, the firmness may take some adjustment. Aside from these minor points, the rest of our stay was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel for its location, authentic atmosphere, and the incredible service from the entire staff.

The room is very big and clean. Wide range of facilities. Reception gentlmen are quite helpful and can speak Eng well. Just 5-10 min walk to Ragistan Square and 3-5 min walk to the BibiHanim Musjid. Just remember to ask the hotel of Taxi drop off spot in advance. Because it's located in the tourist walking street, cars are forbbiden.

Bilik itu sangat bersih dan selesa, dengan cahaya semula jadi dan pengudaraan yang baik. Pemiliknya, dari Hubei, sangat prihatin dan menyediakan perkhidmatan yang sangat baik; komunikasi lancar. Harganya berpatutan, dan terdapat sebuah restoran Hunan di tingkat atas. Ia hanya 3 kilometer dari lapangan terbang, menjadikannya sangat mudah untuk menerokai kawasan sekitarnya. Saya sangat mengesyorkan tempat ini kepada keluarga yang melancong dari China.

ホテルは美しく、部屋も広く清潔で快適でした。 ペットボトル、インスタントのコーヒーと紅茶、ケトル、ミニ冷蔵庫が備わっています。セーフティBoxはありません。お風呂にバスがあり一日の疲れを癒してくれました。 朝食にはウズベキスタンには珍しくサーモンや魚類もありました！朝食会場は広くてリラックスできる雰囲気がありました。 チェックアウトは10時です。

こちらは驚くほど丁寧に掃除されていましたし、設備も新しく非常に快適でした。 旧市街に宿泊したいと思っていましたが、訪れてみるとどこも新しく整った街並みですし、タクシーも配車アプリで気軽に利用できるため、利便性(駅近く)をとった方がいいと思います。 予約できた列車が深夜着だったため、随分とお待たせしてしまい、大変申し訳ない限りでした。利用される際は、列車の到着時刻を連絡されるといいと思います。

Побывали там ненадолго, был на 2 ночи, 3 дня. Изначально ожидания были средние, но гостиница вполне оправдала их, и даже оказалась лучше. Первое, что хочется подметить - чистоту номеров. Все было очень чисто, часто убирались, меняли полотенца, тапки и другие вещи, восполняли запасы воды, самое главное - ванная комната вместе с уборной была чистой. По состоянию гостиницы видно, что она новая или недавно отремонтирована - всё свежее, выглядит хорошо. Особенно внимательны и добры парни администраторы Сардор и Жалолиддин, которые там работают в регистратуре у входа. Завтраки тоже были хорошие, спрашивали про наши планы за ночь и утром сообщали, что завтрак готов (тогда гостей было не много) именно к тому времени, о котором мы говорили. Так более того, еще и весь шведский стол накрывали именно для нас. В целом, приятная, хорошая гостиница с хорошими номерами и удобствами! Думаю вернусь, когда буду в Самарканде и в следующий раз. P.S. Для тех, кто собирается приехать на своей машине - уточните есть ли место для парковки, там оказалось их не так много.

Отличное обслуживание. У нас не был Включен завтрак но они пошли нам навстречу и кормили завтраками. Помогли с транспортом 👍🏻💯
