Hotel 2-Star di Samarkand Region, Uzbekistan

We arrived late, but check-in is 24/7. A very polite young man greeted us at the entrance, showed us everything, and explained it all. Breakfasts are modest; we only ate there once in two days. The room has everything, including slippers and disposable toothbrushes. The hotel is located near Islam Karimov Square, which is also where Registan is.

This is a truly wonderful hotel! We had a very comfortable stay. The owner was incredibly kind, the room was spacious, and having a refrigerator was a real lifesaver during the heat of June. The shared kitchen was also a huge help, as I was really missing Japanese food. Just a heads-up for now: there's construction on the road near the hotel, so you might need to coordinate the pickup point when calling a taxi with Yandex. Regardless, it's an excellent hotel, and I would definitely love to stay here again when I return to Samarkand. Thank you very much!

I thought this hotel was a fantastic value. I am a budget traveler and just want a clean, safe place with good wifi. This place was perfect for me. The location is incredible and convenient to the main attractions of the city. The farthest is the Prophet's Tomb, which is maybe a 40-45 minute walk. Everything else is just 5-15 minutes away. There are a bunch of restaurants, shopping, ice cream stands all around, including the bottom of the hotel is adjacent to a restaurant. The room itself was perfect. I had Room 12, which has a window that opens for lots of fresh air. It opens to a room with no visible others, so you get a lot of privacy as well. The wifi worked perfectly and the breakfast was a nice touch. I didn't see any bugs and had no problems with anything at all. The place was clean and I really enjoyed my stay.

☺️Things to enjoy: Location: literally 30 seconds away from the pedestrian walking street. Registan is just 10 mins away. Breakfast: it's not a buffet and you can't choose, but they cook you 2 home-made dishes (they differ every morning): could be pancakes with jam and fruits + another dish with meat. Staff: nice people, will help with anything they can. People from all over the world stay there: always nice to chat. 👀 What to watch out for: Rooms are quite old, and the carpet on the floor wasn't really clean, so I couldn't do my regular stretches. Towels smelled of mustiness (I guess bc they don't have a dryer). Rooms windows face the inside yard, so it's always way too dark in the rooms. No water bottles / tea / coffee provided in the room, no kettle, fridge, safe box in the room There isn't really a typical hostel / hotel common space to comfortably sit and chat - only this inside yard, but not sofas or room to play board games or comfortably sit.

The hostel is located in the Old Town, which is convenient as the bus stop is only a 3-minute walk away. However, it's situated in a small alley, and there's a stretch of road without streetlights when returning from the main square, which felt a bit unsafe at night. The owner was always helpful in solving various issues, for example, when I wanted to boil a couple of eggs in the morning. There's a water dispenser available in the common area, which is handy. The day before I checked in, guests reported no hot water, initially thinking it was due to late-night usage. The next day, it was still cold. When asked, the owner said a circuit breaker had tripped. Once fixed, the water was very hot, so it's important to report any problems promptly. It was advertised as a 4-bed dorm, but it was actually a 5-bed dorm, which was quite a surprise. The owner claimed it couldn't be changed on the platform, a reason I found hard to accept. Even if the main listing couldn't be altered, they could have added a note in the remarks section. Otherwise, it feels like deception, especially for a 'non-refundable' booking where no money is returned. This was the case for both the female and male dorms. With many guests staying, the cleanliness of the common areas struggled to keep up. Also, I didn't seem to find any lockable personal lockers. The owner, who uses a wheelchair, runs this hostel, which is commendable, and the price is good. However, the issues mentioned above do exist. Luckily, I only stayed for one night as a stopover.

優點:1.位置優越。距離雷吉斯坦廣場步行大約十五分鐘。2.前台小哥服務不錯，沒有電梯，拿行李上上下下，熱情周到。3.三樓有個觀景平台，有沙發桌子，適合休閑遊旅客。缺點:1.房型不標準，大床房空間有大有小。沒房了給我三人間，床的寬度目測0.8米。2.前台沒有pos機，預付擔保金也不能抵扣房費，衹能用現金付款。

I had to leave early twice and missed breakfast, so the hotel kindly prepared lunchboxes for me. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent; I could walk to all the tourist attractions.

This hotel is conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from Samarkand Station. It was renovated at the end of 2025, so the interior and facilities are brand new. The best part is its proximity to the station, which is incredibly convenient for late-night arrivals or after getting off the train, as it minimizes the need to search for a taxi or carry luggage around. The rooms aren't fancy, but they are well-maintained and clean, making for a perfectly comfortable stay. Moreover, the reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! They even called a taxi for me when Yandex wasn't working, among other valuable assistance. It was a huge help!

Spacious and clean room, equipped with a fridge and kettle. The bathroom was large, and we had a room with a balcony. The host was very hospitable. There's a microwave available in the lobby. Major attractions and a market are just 500 meters away.

We set a triple room, the room is very clean, the decoration is very special, the service is very warm, the breakfast is very rich, you can store your luggage, when you leave the store, you also help us arrange a free delivery to the train station, and send a special gift to the store, and also intimately take a photo with us! In short, the accommodation experience is great! The only fly in the ointment is that there are no slippers and shower caps!
