Hotel 2-Star di Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan

I only left this place this morning, but I already want to go back. It felt like a home, the host/owner and his wife are super lovely, greeted me every time I came back or said goodbye to me whenever I left. It felt like I was coming home at the end of the day. You get a tea on arrival and I opted for the bento box breakfast for my first morning. I came down at 10 and it was there waiting for me, they play nice Japanese music while your waiting downstairs, although the hosts weren’t fluent in English we could communicate just fine, there English was good enough, although I did try to speak Japanese, the room was so nice and big, I love a tatami room it’s so cosy, I liked snuggling up in the bed at night and watching my tablet, the bathrooms where nice and I just loved the ryokan feel. If I ever find myself in kanazawa again which I willl, I will most definitely stay here again! If you don’t book here your not doing kanazawa right.

Very convenient location. Walk about 10' from the east exit of the Kanazawa station. Easy to find. The stairs are steep and the owner helped me to carry my luggage to the 1/F, where my bed was. When I was back at night, he showed me around and gave me the necessary details in person. Even asked me to take my shower earlier because the hostel that night was fully booked by marathon runners who were joining the race today (Oct 29). He helped me to clear my problems about the special traffic arrangements on the marathon day as well. What a helpful and friendly host! The hostel is clean as well. Towels will be charged if needed.

the room is clean but has a weird smell, if you stay inside long enough you won't notice it but every day when I returned to the room the smell was there... maybe it's the wall painting? curtains are not thick enough, every day I was woken up by sun light at 5am 🫠 other than above, everything was fine. nice washer and dryer for only 300yen large public area with literally no other travelers room is not small bath is nice checkin time is 4-6pm but still be able to checkin after that

Overall, it was okay. I arrived at 12:30 and they allowed me to check in straight away. It's located between Omicho Market and Higashichaya. While it's close to Omicho Market, it's not exactly in a great location. The hotel has the feel of a guesthouse. There's a cafe and bar on the first floor, and a water server. It's a hotel with a guesthouse feel, with private rooms. The rooms are average. The doors don't auto-lock. They're reasonably spacious. The bathroom is very small. The room quality isn't high, but it's not inconvenient. It's nice that the TV is a smart TV. There are no particular issues, but there aren't any special services or facilities, and it's not particularly good value for money. There are many good, cheap hotels in Kanazawa, so personally I prefer regular hotels.

This hotel is very close to Kanazawa Station. It takes 3-5 minutes to walk ～ to book a single room. I arrived at the hotel around 10:00 in the morning. The front desk was an old grandmother. I could speak Japanese, but I was very polite. I might have seen me arrive early, and then immediately gave me a room, saying that I can stay. I went upstairs and opened the door and found that I was actually given a triple room ～. It was really a surprise to ^_^. The room was very large, but there was no conditioner in the bathroom and no hair dryer (it seems that the hair dryer has to be told at the front desk to give it), but I also stayed for one night, so it doesn’t matter ～

The hotel staff were very kind and welcoming, and we had no difficulties communicating in English. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area and has a convenient bus stop nearby. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. 10/10 — I would definitely recommend!

It was nice to be close to the station. When I arrived in the heavy rain, I was asked to lend me a towel to wipe my carry case. ２ I stayed for a night and was satisfied. I would like to use it again

Good location, convenient key transfer. Near Santo, supermarket, good sushi, temples. To station 15 minutes walk. The air conditioner ”works,” but the temperature does not change. The tatami are dirty, everything in a thick layer of dust. The plums are all filled. The water in the bathroom goes very bad. (poured one bath all day). Towels and shampoo are provided. For the night two are fine. Thanks to the host anyway.

It was one of my best accommodations. It is strange that this beautiful place has so little feedback. The host is very hospitality, I saw it twice: in settlement and when leaving. Moreover, in the 24 hours of stay I haven't seen any of my neighbors, only seen their shoes, and it was incredibly comfortable: I never had to wait a queue to the bathroom or toilet. The room was clean, common zones too. The pool is individual, that is, you close it as you enter it, and no one can come in anymore. All the facilities were new and clean. I also was given a yucata and two candy, which was very nice. Sleeping on tattoos was very convenient and soft. When I return to Kanadawa, I will settle here. It's a very good place for an incredibly pleasant price. Thank you!
