AAkinoriThe female owner's hospitality was excellent, and we had a wonderful stay. She gave us information about local sightseeing spots, and when we told her we were going to Kandy next, she also shared some of the highlights there, making this a fond memory of our trip to Sri Lanka.
We got caught in the rain while sightseeing in Ella, and when we arrived at the inn soaking wet, the warm Ceylon tea she had prepared for us was delicious and comforting. It was a perfect stay without any complaints, and we'll come again.

GGuest UserWe arrived tired and out of sorts, but we were greeted so warmly that our spirits immediately improved. The hosts gave us tea, chatted in a homely way - you feel like a welcome guest, not a client.
The hotel is on top of a mountain, and each room has an exit to a terrace with a stunning view. You wake up in the morning - and in front of you there are only mountains and silence. The room is clean, cozy, everything is thought out to the smallest detail.
Breakfast was prepared especially for our preferences: fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, toast, even smoothies! The staff is not formally polite, but truly kind.
If you want to not just spend the night, but feel cared for and relax your soul - this is definitely your place. I want to come back again and recommend it to everyone. Many thanks to the hosts for such an atmosphere!

MMaso Maso (Maso)This was one of my best stays in Sri Lanka. The only thing I could fault the place for, was the water pressure was not very good. I know serious world problems right. As a frequent world traveler I look for clean/safe/valuable for money accommodation, with a comfortable bed, hot shower, working AC for the hot climates and good Wi Fi. This place ticked all those boxes and some. Great hosts and you have the option of paying the extra for a home cooked meal, which was tasty and plentiful. It is located in a very quiet serene part of Ella and you will either be faced with a short drive into the Ella township or an approx 20min walk. The hosts went out of their way to ensure a great stay, helped with luggage up the steep stairs to the accommodation and bought some required items, when the host went into town. Pics shown stairs leading up to the accommodation, so definitively not wheel chair friendly. Another pic shows the evening meal. We also opted for the host to provide breakfast and it was just as good and affordable.

辻辻モナカIt was a beautiful inn with a very high altitude. It is an inn where the car dispatch app cannot be used very much, but when I contacted the staff of the inn, I arranged a convenient tuk tuk driver to go to the area around Ela station for 1100 rupees one way. In fact, no matter where I went, they put me on 300 to 500 rupees cheaper than other drivers. The room was clean, but it was a pity that the shower toilet door was a little broken ＆ only lukewarm water. However, the outside scenery was really beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. I think it is a good inn overall, such as price.

GGuest UserWe really enjoyed staying in this gestahouse ! Thought to stay there for a couple of days, but the temperature rose and had to recover 5 days :) from what would be noted for those on their transport , a pretty cool entrance to the gestahous, especially for the first time insurgently, then you get used to. The roaring , and the downhill , the bike can slosh if it slosh on the lonely turns. Likewise the car is difficult with the habit will be turned , if you are on the car, you have to drive well in narrow places to get in and turn. Breakfasts the host of the gesta cooks very delicious , in 5 days not bored, though repeated) beautiful look! Ella herself is far from civilization but to us the insurance doctor came the next morning on request. For the products too, you don't go either to go on a bike , or go but minutes 20-25) there is a short way through waiting, to the cafe can get quickly, but to the hill! In principle I recommend, the main thing is not to hurt. And the hearing is normal, the main thing is that your neighbors don't loudly snorkel

GGuest UserExcellent stay with wonderful hosts who went above and beyond; they even provided a packed breakfast with coffee for our 5AM morning safari and a cooked breakfast when we returned. Dinner was excellent and so plentiful! The rooms were brand-new, spotlessly clean, and had everything you needed, including nice linen. The location is perfect—only 15 minutes from the Katagamuwa entrance to Block 1, which was great as it wasn’t too busy!

QQiongqiongGood for value. The location is very good, it’s at end of the town, convenient to go hiking and the restaurants. It’s quiet at night. The room is very clean. The owner is friendly. He gave us a pot of tea to welcome us when we arrive. Also he provided us the bus schedule information and advices for the time in Ella.
It will better if there is a kettle so we can try Ceylon tea we bought.

ЮЮлия ЗМы остались под хорошим впечатлением от отеля. Домик новый, чистый и уютный. Из него открывается вид на лес, также слышны умиротворяющие звуки природы. В домике есть водонагреватель, что очень важно, а также тв, вай-фай, чайник, фен. Хозяин домика очень дружелюбный, внимательный и приятный в общении человек. При необходимости с ним можно договорится о трансфере до города Эллы и местных достопримечательностей. Спасибо за гостеприимство!

GGuest UserI stayed there for one night before going to Ella. Lina and her family gave me an amazing and very caring attention.
The Location is great only 5 minutes walking from the train and bus station and the bungalow is very well equipped.
